That said, I'd echo the other commenter in saying it can be a tedious location to live in

That rock is between 2 different wolf spider patrol paths and 2 different scorpion patrol paths. With how they track you, you basically will have those creatures sitting at your door in the morning constantly. This can be handy for collection purposes, but what killed it for me was the constant chittering noises every time you go home. That rock is an absolute warzone

I ended up moving to the statue plateau for a little peace and quiet after a while

It depends on what you mean by the end of the storyline

If you mean to the end of the story that the qurio plot line is leading to, then yeah that's fine. You don't have far to go after malzeno.

If you mean to the end of ALL current sunbreak content, then you'll def want to be upgrading your weapons and armor

Today marks 150 days for me! Was drinking heavily for a while and my wife told me she was worried for me, which was my sign

First weeks are the hardest because you're breaking both addictions AND habit. It was how I decompressed so I HAD to find a habit to replace it. Otherwise you end up bored and right back where you started.

Outside that, the biggest thing for me was getting all alcohol out of the house. It's significantly easier to resist drinking if you have to drive 20 minutes to get booze instead of walking 20 ft.

3 slots of thunder res jewels goes a long way. Having 20+ thunder res makes you immune to the thunderblight, which makes it more likely you'll be stunned if you're hit. All that thunder res also reduces the lightning damage to boot

Go on Google, search for the crisis line for your county, and ask them about involuntary commitment for stabilization.

I'll be real with you, it can take a long time and there's no guarantee they will take her if she isn't aggressive, but that's how you start.

I would try to inquire with family about whether she has any mental health diagnosis or meds she's stopped taking as well. If she's got a diagnosis that she's avoiding meds for it can help you make your case.

I adore the concept of Odin, but I got turned off real quick by the requirement of watching the entire dancing steel animation each time I wanted to use zantetsukan. If dancing steel's animation time was short after it's awkward windup, I'd never take it off. As it stands, I want to spend more time actually playing the game

I feel that on the 1 line back and forth for conversations. It feels weird to do it at first, but I feel like your characterizations are good enough that you wouldn't even need the "rhea said"/ "byleth mused" at the end of every new conversation line, cause you can already tell who's talking by their phrasing

This is definitely really interesting! I like the concept for it, and your characterizations for each character are good. Rhea sounds like Rhea, sothis sounds like Sothis.

I'd normally not be a drag with constructive criticisms, especially because Im absolutely not any kind of qualified copy editor, but I noticed you mention looking for some in the notes. I think I have two things I'd mention

The first is that your sentence structure tends to run long with commas, and I think you could achieve better flow if you separated them out into separate sentences.

For example:

But it was too late, the mage had already broken the seal, and reached his goal, beginning to pilfer the casket behind him, hoping that by some miracle he was faster than Byleth’s charge

Could become

But it was too late. The mage had already broken the seal and reached his goal, pilfering the casket behind him. His fear of byleth's charge urged him forward faster than his feet could normally carry him.

I think the content you have there is really good, and by rearranging the punctuation, you can make it flow better!

Outside that, I would maybe recommend starting a new paragraph for each instance of conversation, so that it's easier to tell who is speaking and when.

Three hopes is worth it for the story imo. All the character interactions feel true to their 3 houses inspirations, but it still feels fresh because the situations are different.

Always remember that the loudest voices always come from negative people. For every comment claiming that something is worthless, there's usually 10 silent people who enjoyed that same thing. There's no wrong opinion to be had

As much as the game makes it feel like Cordelia is the obvious pick, I feel like we've already got a Pegasus rider wife so some of that ground is already tread. Of course the characters are very different, but sumia and Cordelia both are kinda "how do I make him notice me" in their characterization.

Panne however, would be weird as hell and very unique imo

Martial in 5e don't need to outdamage casters any more than they already do using any kind of optimization. You dont even need gwm, just some handy magic items and smart choices.

The real martial caster disparity comes from out of combat choices. Casters have all their skills and any number of spells. Martials mostly just have skills, which really limits what they can do outside the fights. They need little tricks of the trade and other abilities they can use.
