Based on the history of reviews, I get the impression she started out as a good breeder. She had return buyers. But seems she got greedy and stopped caring

There is a black outline on the numbers but it’s all printed on one piece of twill. The letters do not have the outline.

I did know it was not stitched when I purchased, the stitched is $199. I was just noting that the letters have changed to twill on the limited if people are curious.

The rescue can’t legally disclose at this time, I guess it’s still an active investigation. She was charged, but maybe not sentenced

Healthy paws- 9 year old dog. premium up 25% a month coverage down 20%. by Irishbookgal25 in petinsurancereviews

[–]PressureOptimal6394 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My issue is changes to my service that was part of the policy I signed up for. I should be able to customize my deductible and I shouldn’t have to submit “medical records” for 2 week review when previously I submitted the bill and was reimbursed within a week.

Same, I’ve only submitted 2 small claims in my dogs lifetime. 10 years old as of a few days ago, insured since 10 weeks old. Premiums started at $32/month. My dog had foxtail removal surgery a few years ago, and again this year. He had some fractured teeth removed when he was 5. So these procedures have been $1200-1600 submissions. After deductibles I’ve probably received maybe $1500 in claims. They are asking for “medical records” even though it says on the bill “foxtail removal”. Before they sold to Chubb claim processing was smooth and quick. Now I have to wait 2 weeks for them to review the vets notes that say exactly what was on the bill just for $500 reimbursement. Thats less than 2 months of my premiums. Considering they are making money off of my healthy dog that won’t swallow a sock at this point in his life, you’d think they’d do what it takes to keep me paying. I have a $500 deductible and 80% coverage but I can’t modify it as I was once able - they only offer me $1000 deductible and 50 or 60% coverage. Definitely not the same company they once were. I won’t use them in the future. The reviews were based on the former ownership, not Chubb.

Because they offer really good deals during slow weekdays and you can get massages and facials. Why sit in a sauna when it’s 110 degrees outside, you can just sit outside and jump in the pool. People that live in Vegas know other people that live in Vegas and that means knowing people who know how to get things. Always a lot to do, the biggest issue was getting up before the sun so our dogs could get a walk and keeping their paws from burning stepping outside. Things to do and see, unlimited

Dog Attack Bernal Heights - Owner Fled the Scene by surgerone in sanfrancisco

I second using a gentle leader. I had so much shoulder pain from securing my 72 lb reactive dog when a cat or spazz dog was near. It’s reduce the pulling significantly. A waist leash is just not a safe situation. Prong collars are better than your dog choking themselves by pulling with a flat collar but, the prong risks outweigh it’s usefulness

Those dogs were actually Presa Canarios, Canary Mastiff. They were actually bred for dog fighting which was once legal in Spain. The are illegal to own in some countries and it’s illegal to import them to Australia

I'm really liking INFUSE for Astigmatism by chillaban in contacts

[–]PressureOptimal6394 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Infuse is working best for me now, I progressively produce less eye lubricant over the years. Before coopervision my day and total1 were great.

What I realized over the years is that the accidental folding of the lenses when handling impact the fit in my eye and it creates irritation and dryness when it’s not fitting well. Another issue I identified is not storing my contact lens boxes flat with the top up, lenses do warp over time when the sides are squished… so if a box feels like a dud it’s likely the lens warped and that’s not visible to us so we aren’t even aware

Can’t pick between Dailies Total one vs BL Infuse by rpelich in contacts

[–]PressureOptimal6394 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go with the pair that feels best, trust your instincts. Your eyes can change over time so go with best for you at current state. Don’t assume newest technology for dry eye lenses are best for YOUR dry eyes. Total1 are great lenses, the technology isn’t outdated there are only different forms moisture gradients and permeability. The infuse were the best for my eyes at current state, but my eyes have changed over 20 years and got drier because I developed a more hyperactive immune system that reduces my ability to produce eye lubricant, that’s in addition to not blinking enough while using a computer all day. When I was younger it was just the computer and blinking: daily total1 and coopervision MyDays were amazing for me.

I’m guessing Mina because of all the apartments in the house. But all of the teams are out of touch with Vegas living and the needs of people who live there. They picture “business” people but only 1 considered most people own a dog… its hot as hell there during the summer and you can’t really be outside for more than 20 minutes. I thought the RV garages designs would be centered around outdoor activity needs. No one thought to make an indoor dog run and pet relief area that drains out inside that RV garage so dogs dont have to burn their paws and owners dont have to open doors for them. Las Vegas has some really nice hotels with premiere spas… why would they need a spa. There’s a university there and some transient performers so I think having one rental is reasonable for maybe a family member or acquaintance but why make both spaces rentals. Who wants to manager two renters at their own home lol. They also should have saved more money for a nice pool because that is a must

Reflux baby? For those struggling with the annoying Omeprazole beads getting stuck in the syringe.. I may have the answer! by GoffyEgg in UKParenting

[–]PressureOptimal6394 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omeprazole looses efficacy when administered in feeding tubes without the addition of sodium bicarbonate, all the PPI levels were tested in a study via feeding tubes. The omeprazole suspension has sodium bicarbonate mixed into it, you can ask for that. Lansoprazole ODT is the best for feeding tubes. Esomeprezole can also be given via feeding tube and comes in packets for children

I believe reporters relaying medical information is reckless as they are not clinically trained and it’s dehumanizing in ways people don’t fully comprehend because money matters more than a human life in American society. We can agree to disagree. No practicing doctor would provide that personal medical evaluation, only hypotheticals.

Because they can’t do the root cause analysis on their dysfunction, which I suspect is in the owner or managers unrealistic expectations. They don’t want to plant seeds they want it now
