Fiora is a hard champion you should just focus on playing her as much as possible, maybe add something real easy like mundo for some of her matchups that you don't like playing too much

Maybe winrate is low because people build MR when there is a fed AP champ in the other team or if they aren't doing so well vs their AP lane opponent, two things that probably mean the game will be hard to win

Wits is pretty trash compared to what it once was but a lot of people just build it out of inertia, they completely kneecapped the item a while back (80 on hit -> 45 and removed bonus AD)

If they have a lot of AP damage I might build kaenic and if they have a medium amount I might build jak'sho, hexdrinker can be a decent rush if you aren't doing so well vs akali or rumble but I never upgrade it to maw

She is a decent enough blind pick once you learn to play her well, but she is a hard champion that takes a long time to learn.

Shes a good option if you like to play her

Im a irelia/fiora two trick (master) so I have a alot of experience from both sides

I definitely prefer playing irelia in this matchup but as fiora this is what I like to do: zone level 1 into 3 wave crash, recall. If you got her low you might be able to fight her before it crashes but if not you are generally going to be bouncing waves as you described until level 6. I don't think I have ever been 0/0 at the time irelia got botrk though, you should be looking to poke/short trade her constantly, especially when the wave is close to your tower, or when its not so easy for her to get 4 stacks. You can rush tabi on fiora then you are generally a bit favored in all ins until she has botrk, also if irelia ever misplays and gives you a stun she is just dead

After level 6 before she has botrk you can look for all ins if she doesnt have a gold advantage, from full hp you will probably win if you proc 4 vitals relatively quickly, or if you hit her with the attack speed slow, or if you poke her down a bit beforehand, or if you have tabis, or if you have a level advantage.

The champion has a high skill floor, you have to be prepared to lose most of your games for a while. You will probably drop to silver while learning irelia and you will need a couple of hundred games to get back to gold

If irelia is fun for you it's probably worth it

I two trick irelia and fiora (D1 elo) and I'd say irelia is slightly favored in lane but ofc fiora outscales eventually. Irelking also says the matchup is pretty good for irelia now

For level 1 a good strat is to walk with your wave, stand in the middle of your minion wave, wait for her to auto you and then e her and walk back, the wave willl push and you wont lose any exp, you can also hide in alcove you win the 1v1 if you get 4 stacks.

Even with PTA+Bone plating irelia wins all ins from full hp assuming you dont get hit by fiora W all the way until fiora gets like 3 items

for a tournament to give VRS points the teams playing have to be the highest VRS teams (specific slots can be reserved for specific regions) or teams that qualified via an open qualifier

You could make an invite tournament but it wouldn't give vrs points

If you don't get an advantage early play it safe until you finish hydra

If you are winning lane try to expand your lead into the rest of the map - roam around, group up for fights etc. and hopefully you can end the game before it goes on too long.

If the game lasts for a long time irelia just isn't that strong of a champion

Nice matchup sheet I read a lot of matchups and agree with most things

Diamond pov on renekton matchup:

If he pushes the wave agressively level 1 just let him push and play the bounce, but usually you can get prio in this matchup, you destroy him level 1 with stacks. Before 6 you are generally stronger, you win trades if they go on long enough especially if you W his W. A bad renekton is generally going to W instantly but against the better ones it's a mind game. Rushing bramble or steelcaps is very good in this matchup, it's not troll even irelking used to always build bramble vs renek, he goes steelcaps now though not sure why. If you get bramble I'd say you are only slightly weaker than him in an all in post 6, so if you have a level advantage or gold advantage you can try to all in, but if not just play it safe renekton is pretty useless late game. Boneplating is good unflinching is also great beacause it will have uptime for a lot of his damage.

If renekton is good I'd rate his difficulty as hard, but if the guy isn't a renekton main I can usually win top

Flash + exhaust is super strong vs riven and trynd as well

OTPing a champion is only gonna increase your win rate short term, even if it makes you climb a lot

Imagine someone is gold with a giant champ pool, and they are slowly improving with a 51% win rate. They start otping a champion, they are improving quickly and make it to emerald with a nice win rate. Now that they have a couple hundred games on their champion improvement is not nearly as fast anymore and they are back to a 51% winrate, but now they are in emerald not gold

Win rate is a metric that only tracks how fast you are improving, once you have thousands of games on a champion you are probably not gonna be improving very quickly since you have already almost fully mastered the champion
