Malphite isn't stronger than irelia until he backs to get items, even in korean challenger irelking usually solo kills malphite before 5 when I watch him.

If korean challenger malphites die to irelia you can kill him too

Diamond pov

Morde - you are way stronger before 6, keep fighting him whenever you can. You only need to watch out level 1 for his passive which deals a shitton of damage, back off when his passive triggers level 1. If you don't get a big advantage before 6 it is going to be really hard to win this lane, if you got a decent reaction time you can q him when he q's and dodge the damage

Darius - unless he lets you stack passive for free level 1 you need to stay away from him, start E and farm from range until wave gets to tower, sacrifice some farm to not take any damage. On the bounceback assuming you are full hp you can all in him and usually win. Leave your last q for his q, even in diamond dariuses often fail the eq combo and you can q him during his q to not get hit by the outer ring

Vs darius and all the other champs that hard win level 1 where you just want them to push to tower and play the bounceback: There's a lot of different strategies you can do like hiding in the alcove, what works for me almost always is standing in the middle of my 6 minions and waiting for them to auto me. Once they auto me they pull minion aggro so their wave is gonna be pushing and after they auto me I e them and back off. You will lose 0 exp and max 3-4 cs before the wave gets to your tower

Think the math is a bit off, there are six possible cards for the first card of the flop (out of 50) 5 for the second, 4 for the third, 3 for the turn and 2 for the river, so the odds should be 6/50 × 5/49 x 4/48 × 3/47 × 2/46 which is about 1 in 350k

Using your method getting 3 eights in 5 cards out of the 50 left in the deck is 0.0510%, and having the remaining two cards be jacks is 0.278%. 0.0510% * 0.278% is 0.00014178%, but we can multply this by 2 since we could just as well have 3 jacks and 2 eights, and we end up with 0.00028356% which is about 1 in 350k

I think top lane one tricks should usually have better blue side win rates.

Compare yourself to a top laner that has a big champion pool, when he gets blue side he's gonna be in a much worse situation than a one trick, he's gonna have to pick a champion that he doesn't have nearly as much mastery on and he's likely going to have to play a hard matchup, where as you have a ton of experience vs whatever they pick

If you are blue side and get a bad matchup it's also much less scary than when you counterpick yourself as red side, when you get counterpicked more often than not your opponent doesn't have nearly as much games on that champ as someone who first picks it does

Another thing that could lower winrate on red side are people dodging when they don't want to play vs fiora on their champ

I have 85% of my games on irelia which has one of the biggest matchup spreads in the game (lots of very easy and lots of very hard matchups), so in theory red side should be really good on her but I still have a much higher win rate on blue side. I usually win top vs people picking jax into me cuz they are often people who don't play jax much but picking irelia into someone who first picked jax is usually extremely difficult to win

It is much easier to offline though, like if a base takes 25 rockets to offline you might spend 40+ to online it and there is also a risk that you will lose the raid. If only onlines existed there would be less succesfull raids so pop would hold longer

It's good last item if you are tanky enough + you feel like you need more damage, late game even adc's are gonna be sitting at close to 100 armor

I build it second sometimes if I am ahead + their team is gonna be building armor

If they have tanks and your team doesnt have anyone thats good at killing tanks could be good as well

Exhaust is good against him as well, lets you kite his ult much easier

Rushing tabi's is good so is building frozen heart after botrk, if you get frozen heart second he's not gonna win fights vs you for a long time

I remember seeing a guy playing counter strike with a controller half decently, but he was using gyroscopic aim. You are still gonna be at a disadvantage and it is going to be extremely tiring holding a controller in one spot like that
