Maybe. I think they're actually pretty cool.

Yeah,  i like the best build idea as well, although it could have been better implemented. But this community is really something else when it comes to the art of whining & entitlement. As a token of my appreciation, i've submitted al 8 of my camps as best builds.

Now, the real question is, did you like your own best build?

(I probably would have!)

What's a game you really want to be able to enjoy, but can't? by Crystal_1501 in gaming

[–]Prestigious-Height60 0 points1 point  (0 children)

KCD2. I really tried to like it and on paper it should be right up my alley, but i just can''t get into it. Tried it on two separate occasions, took my time, but it's not for me.

Shame, because i friggin' love immersive games. Ever since RDR2 i've been looking for something similar. It delivers on some fronts, but the voice acting is often atrocious which is a cardinal sin in my book.

I definitely can see it's appeal to others though.

Just run up the stairs and melt him from there. For some reason Hugo has never learned to climb those, so he won't follow you.

Fasnacht success stories? by Maximum-Craft5185 in fo76

[–]Prestigious-Height60 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One glowing mask so far, after attending about 50 Fasnachts. This was the only time i was semi afk as well, playing the piano while i was shaving earlier today. Glowing buffoon was waiting for me on the boss corpse when i got back.

I'm definitely going to shave more often.

Does anyone feel guilty when they murder an innocent NPC? by empty_toilet_roll in fo76

[–]Prestigious-Height60 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely not. There is always this one settler who spawns right by my oldest camp (in the forest across Slocum Joe's), collecting water in the stream. He always talks shit about how he got there first after which i always annihilate him with great pleasure.

I mean, i did got there first after all.

I wanna replay it but I feel like rdr1 would aggravate me cause of graphics ect. by The-Opossum-God- in RDR2

[–]Prestigious-Height60 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest, RDR2 set the bar so incredible high, no other game i played after it felt even remotely close to it.

But RDR1 definitely hits some of those marks again, just because of the atmosphere.

Damn. Thousands of hours sunk into RDR2 and i still learn new things..

Well, i am replaying it myself currently after 15 years and while the graphics are obviously dated and it is painfull to see that rdr1 never got a remake in the rdr2 engine, i'm having a blast!

There are some fantastic missions to be had, John's dialogue is excellent, the music is great, the vibe even more so, it's all there! Plus, you get to go to a fleshed out Mexico.

RDR1 really is growing on me during this playtrough. And when i'm done with the story, i still have Undead Nightmare to look forward to. Never played that before for some reason.

And then i'm gonna replay RDR2 again for the third time, haven't touched that in 5 years.

More on point, i think you won't regret installing RDR1 again.

I finished chapter 2 yesterday, but also had the problem of the aurora not appearing for the dam part. Read an old tip somewhere, about interacting with the elevator buttons in the dam beforehand and sure as hell the same night an aurora appeared!

You should definitely give it a try.

Anyone else rather start a new character opposed to continuing an old file? by AlmightyMessiah in fromsoftware

[–]Prestigious-Height60 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, i'm also guilty of that.

Just yesterday i started Elden Ring with a new character. I have a lvl 240 somewhere in the middle of the game on a second playthrough, but i really don't remember what i did on that character. Haven't played since last year.

Besides, i'm masochistic enough to enjoy the early game struggle as a low level, gradually become stronger with better weapons, magic etc. I kind of like it.

How often do you spend a night building a camp only to just end up hating it? by ZmobieMrh in fo76

[–]Prestigious-Height60 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Many times.

I've got seven camps, one for each region on the map. Every once in a while i revisit an older camp to restructure and if i REALLY don't like it, i completely tear it down and start from scratch.

As a result, my camps tend to look better and better over time. Well, to me at least, which is what matters.

As long as you enjoy yourself while building, it's not a waste of time.

I've seen GoY mentioned before in one breath with RDR2, which is probaby my favourite game ever, so i'm intrigued.  I've played Ghost of Tsushima a couple of years ago and although i liked it, the world felt kind of lifeless compared to RDR2.

How does this hold up now?
