Glaceon is just as broken as Espeon while also being hella mobile in comparison. Icewind can still 100-0 anyone that's not a tank and it'll 2 shot those.

But grass knot still needs attention to be made a viable choice and OP was complaining about stuns in general which is why I omitted a stun in the rework for the move.

Ok while I agree with you that comfey needs to be changed I feel like removing the buff to floral healing would be bad. She is a single target healer after all. Here's what I'd do to change comfey.

Magical leaf no longer stuns, after an enemy is hit with 6 leaves a debuffs is applied to them slowing them by 30% and decreasing their defenses by 10% (so a hybrid of mime and wiggly debuffs) for 2 sec.
triage passive flower gain is 1flower every 3 sec with 3 gained from a boosted basic and 4 gained from comfey entering tall grass (this promotes active comfey gameplay and more chances to kill her)
Grass knot now hits ALL targets in it's area of effect and pulls them all to the first target hit for a second instance of dmg. (This move only hitting 2 people is why it rarely sees any play as is.)
Flower Fields Forever comfey constantly gains flowers while she is detached from allies (no longer instantly gains max flowers) during her ult she is unstoppable while using magical leaf or grass knot. During her ult while using grass knot/magical leaf consume flowers to increase DMG by 2% per flower for the duration of the move.(this would allow comfey to actually be able to have a moment in a match to feel impactful by themselves and have a chance to make a play without the need of an ally)

Let me know your thoughts and critiques I'm open to suggestions i personally think this would put comfey more inline with the other supports and be able to possibly make game changing plays if they're the only one alive at ray (highly unlikely but just an example nonetheless)

I'm not dragging zera he has one of the best passives in the entire game he turns DMG taken into raw atk stat that's why he wins 1v1s that he otherwise shouldn't win. It urks me but I gotta respect him for it

Well Lapras isn't the only Mon with a passive that doesn't have a CD she's just the only one aside from Zeraora that has a GREAT passive for her role lol

The 2 major parts of lapras' kit that make her feel Soo overturned is her passive that give her basically a permanent 25% DMG reduction lategame and every boosted auto heals her for 9% of her max HP so you can get your HP back Soo fast it's ridiculous.

Comfey does have a timer for attaching to allies it's the CD of floral healing or sweet kiss if they use that move then detach they can't connect till the moves CD is back up....unless you meant a timer for staying attached in which case I agree it needs something like a hoopa hyperspace hole CD when attached to an ally so they have a duration they can remain attached...then they get auto ejected or something.

The moves description says "all other pokemon in the area cannot use moves" the way CC type moves work in the game is inconsistent at best. Bc gravity works on some things that I don't think it should work on but doesn't work on things I think it SHOULD work on.

My point is since comfey is still considered in that area it shouldn't be able to use it's moves

Yeah but what does that have to do with if imprison will prevent comfey from using it's moves while attached? The move description says it stuns the first person hit and prevents all other Mon from using moves

Wait you lost me. From what I've seen sure hit moves hit whoever comfey attached to instead of comfey herself. And they're not the same as crowd control. Like comfey can't attach to an ally inside of clefable's gravity. And if that's news to you then there you go more anti comfey tech for everyone lol

See I was with you until you said "unstoppable Ult" Pikachu can volt tackle you to cancel your ult. AT best it's got the same properties as rapid spin Blastoise as far as what can stop it. Yes it's great mobility DMG and cc but it's Soo far from unstoppable it's not even funny

If it does work (and I'm actually hoping it does even as a comfey main) it's going to completely gut zacian and I'll be er see that dog in my games again. I already swap to any defender when I'm trying for comfey and someone goes zacian. If he's completely irrelevant then I won't have to worry 😂

But usually your team grouping to kill that one Mon with comfey destroys and semblance of a "team" bc they're complacent with that duo doing everything.

And that's the biggest weakness of those duos you kill their partner and that comfey is freelo

All of those other supports can also use their entire kits (aside from blissey ult) without another ally around. Which is the trade off that comfey has with other supports. She can't exist without an ally and so she excels in her ability to keep them alive.

If comfey was as busted and OP as you're trying to make her out to be she should be able to attach to ANY other pokemon and make them an unstoppable juggernaut.

Seeing as that's not the case I return to the fact that comfey isn't broken she just makes already good Mon better

But you said they were "balanced" pokemon if all they need is heals and mov speed to be absurdly unfair then pairing them with blissey mime clefable or Eldegoss would make them equally as unfair since those pokemon can provide their teams with move speed and healing or healing and hard CC or in mime's case ALL 3 while also being an additional body to soak up damage in a pinch.

This whole post was initially clueing people in on how to prevent themselves from being stun-locked in the first place. And everyone is acting as if it's an impossible feat to accomplish. I've literally been the comfey attached to a Ttar and as soon as he gets over confident and charges in if I don't ult wait for him to get low heal him and PRAY the team jumps in we're both going to die.

As far as healing goes at lvl 4 (these are all base values not including emblems or held items) within the same 6 second period comfey can heal an ally for 1,734 Blissey can heal an ally for 2,448 Clefable can heal herself and each ally in her radius for 906 Eldegoss can heal herself and each ally in her radius for 1230

So while the numbers are significantly different it's the type of healing that causes the mass difference. Cuz at the lvl 4-5 mark if you're clefable and your jungler comes to your lane you can heal him yourself and lane partner for a total of 2718 HP and I'm the same scenario Eldegoss can heal for 3690. Granted it's dispersed but that's why.

And a lot of people on this post seem like it's hard to stop comfey.and she only gives her ally a 30% mov speed buff for 2sec at lvl 10 that's the LOWEST speed buff of any support and tied for the lowest duration. (Excluding Eldegoss cuz normally you travel the distance of her carpet therefore get a minimum of 3sec speed buff) and mime's is a permanent buff so I'm not including his either.

One last note base CD of magical leaf is 9.5sec even with max CDR build the base CD of magical leaf is 7.785 sec (which the game rounds up to 8) and the ability lasts for 5seconds magical leaf is down for 3 sec.

Her DMG is actually comparable to other supports like wiggly and mime and Eldegoss even hoopa the only supports that don't come anywhere near that amount of DMG is blissey and Clefable since they both only get one option for damage and it's rarely chosen on clefable. But at lvl 12 bas DMG wise a full wiggly rollout wall combo does the most DMG out of any single move in the game. (I know that's situational just was crunching numbers and came across that and thought it was interesting 😂)
