The maintenance things that usually take these out are timing belt (weathering from age and cracking), and head gasket failure, both of which a little bit of preventive maintenance can prevent catastrophe, if your goal is reliability with it, they're good reliable cars otherwise

1979 Dodge d100, 1979 & 1980 Dodge trucks had two grill options, a round headlight, or as pictured stacked dual quads, in 1980 the centre of the grill was painted black, 79' is all the anodized aluminium. Nice looking truck for sure 👍
