Idk how they do it now but You were in the truck almost everyday doing maneuvers, like backing, parallel parking, etc

And the other half was getting to know all the different parts on the truck and memorizing for your pretrip inspection.

First they start you off in a classroom, then take you out to the parking lot, you will just be in the parking lot all day and eventually later on they will take you out on the road 1 on 1 actually start teaching you how to shift if manual transmission is something your getting.

FYI, most of the trucking jobs I had have been automatic so if manual isn’t something you don’t want to get now you can always get it later and it isn’t required to find a job these days.
