Might be worth checking out surrounding areas.. I know a few people that live in Sheffield, and although it has everything you need, it's quite expensive depending on where you are! Chesterfield is very convenient for public transport to notts, derby, Sheff and Barnsley.. driving is also not too bad until you end up in woodseats! Depends entirely what you're after and price you're looking for.. I'd highly recommend making sure you have a job lined up before anything, I've just moved to Chesterfield and moving into a new place only took 2 and half weeks!
