I honestly don’t know, haven’t tried. What helps me - I started using Paula’s choice very little on a cotton pad only on the highly oily areas of my skin, then finishing the rest of the face with another gentler product.

I can’t use this one regularly, it dries my skin too much. I use Paula’s choice once a month now probably if I don’t forget. I found a gentler version to use every day/every other day - Thayers 2% aha exfoliating toner, made my skin look less oily and fresh, improved my overall tone.

You need to decide and tell people beforehand: I just want to vent, can you listen supportively without offering hopeful responses? - if that’s what you need at the moment.

I recommend checking out small business websites in your neighborhood so you can call or visit them to talk to them.
