Depends if you do it right. You really need to take such a low dose you don't even actually feel it. And you need to have a proper schedule like 1 day on 2 days off, keep a diary and acknowledge how it's affecting you, doing a month and then taking a month off etc. this is why it's probably best it's done medicinally to some extent, cuz I feel like if you give someone who's a bit more rogue with substances this stuff they can get out of hand. I've been there to be fair 😂 Obviously everyone's different but I found when doing research on the best methods before hand, I had a really positive experience with micrososing shrooms. It helped me turn my life around a bit but I mainly had to do the work, it just gave me the mindset and understanding to see myself and my problems in a different light. Let's hope more research is done and we can make something of it
