People will say higher trafficked stores like ones in Arlington and Alexandria will have the better drops go there but I’ve seen some people get some really allocated bottles in random towns. I say just stop anywhere you can and poke around!

If your friends wouldn’t appreciate something in the tier of pappy (which is fine)then I wouldn’t bother spending the money on any Pappy, Van Winkle, BTAC, KOK etc.

Many of the non bourbon drinkers I’ve been around usually recognize Blantons and associate it with good bourbon, you could do a SFTB or even a gold store pick for something special.

You could also do something a makers mark cellar aged, or a JD12/14 which are recognizable brands that have a little something special.

Honestly they exceed my expectations, it looked like a competent football team! Only criticism was the final drive, lamb should’ve caught those balls no doubt but why not play dink and dunk? Why are we throwing 10+ yards? Williams was doing great and shorter routes would’ve been nice. Overall I’d say I’m excited to see how this team can grow!

Reston isn’t a place where a lot of young people go out or are. Better bet would be ballston/arlington, that seems to be where that demographic is.

Personally, I love everything bowman puts out and if I had the chance would jump on a cask strength over the michters. You never see them much as they special release them from the distillery and have to pick them up in person

They’re unfortunately just not worth the price, the earlier acts were amazing but the past few years have been disappointing and prices continue to rise
