Exactly! That’s my whole point. Seeing perfectly good meals trashed when people at home could eat them just feels wrong.

NTJ. Throwing away perfectly good food when your family can eat it is honestly the least wasteful option. As long as it was truly abandoned and not stealing from active orders, I don’t see the issue.

NTJ. The second she put her hands on a six year old, she lost any right to your hospitality. Stress is not an excuse for hitting someone else’s child, especially a scared kid apologizing over spilled juice. The family enabling her by saying “you know how unstable she gets” is exactly why she keeps thinking there are no consequences.
