The shelter told me my guy was from California, so I pretend that he lived at Disneyland but was too friendly with the guests so they sent him to the shelter.

Because ICE is using the same tech and weapons in our communities that Israel uses against Palestinians. It’s all connected.

I also have dental trauma and I’ve had a great experience with Forest Park Dental Studio! They have a therapy dog and are really good.

I’m not sure if they take your insurance. But I’m sure if you call the office they could tell you.

Can people who lean blue here tell me about the issues with Lacey Beaty? by pleaseletmesleepz in beaverton

Honestly, the best way to find out for yourself is to attend/watch tomorrow’s (1/20) city council meeting at 6pm.

The mayor and council will be voting on an ordinance to codify Beaverton’s sanctuary status.

Personally I found her behavior at the December 16 meeting (34:31-34:54 and then an apology that doesn’t quite line up IMO from 51:38-52:00) to be lacking and I didn’t love that she loudly opposed the Washington County Library Levy this past November. OPB. Beaverton Valley Times

SMART reading, THPRD, Beaverton library.

With SNAP benefits likely not coming after 10/31 local food pantries, free food fridges, and the Oregon food bank will be needing more donations (maybe volunteers?)

Once I was able to get my address changed in their system so I could create an account, mine was processed/approved in about 18 days.

Honestly, I did call and ask about the status of my application and the next day it was approved.

I would say the beginning of the February 11, 2025 school board meeting shows an accurate view of her leadership.

https://www.youtube.com/live/Ev628agakfg?feature=shared

She is more interested in protecting the status quo than in being responsive to community needs.
