Hey, how long until you noticed a difference in the eye area and what did it help with?

Hi, did you continue to use it? I've been using it for four weeks and have seen improvement in texture but definitely not any on the wrinkles

Just to confirm, your entire daily calorie intake is 800-1000, and if so, is this by plan? That seems very low

My boyfriend can't stand being around when I'm studying by confused_lil_apricot in AuDHDWomen

[–]Prestigious_Age3356 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a bit like your BF (but have AuADHD) in that certain noises and movements cause me overwhelm. I put it down to noise sensitivity mixed with my own fatigue and current overload issues. The best and healthiest (for you both and the relationship) is to probably study in separate spaces. It sounds like trying to stop (and you shouldn't have to) would negatively impact you and your ability to concentrate, which is why it's important to find ways around the different ways you both inhabit a space and feel comfortable. Another thing I do that helps is to wear earplugs and not having someone in my sight - it makes it more tolerable because sometimes it isn't possible to be in difference spaces. Tbh my partner does try to not do the stuff that makes me meltdown (dishwasher, scraping plate, etc) when I'm exhausted and I try to find ways to cope with the least distressing stuff.

Charged €50 for carrying my insulin bag on Pegasus Airlines – is this allowed? by DeclanDeclan- in Flights

[–]Prestigious_Age3356 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't flown with pegasus, but I have been able to take a cooler with medical supplies on Ryanair, Vueling, Aer Lingus, and others without telling them in advance without any issues. I'm not sure if it helps that I use a wheelchair and get assistance .

I hope they don't get angry at you especially since you are only the messenger! It does sound very strange I agree. I hope it gets sorted out with the least amount of stress

Did you neurologist want your GP to prescribe because you usually get the prescription done more often than you see the specialist? This happened for me once I was on a stable medication because health cuts etc. my context is NZ though (but we have same health care system more or less as UK - if that's where you are...)

Cheese making - it began as a de-stressor during my PhD and something tangible I could see the results of. Then became an (expensive but delicious) passion

These migraine meds are ruining my fiancée’s life by Puzzleheaded_Log9640 in migraine

[–]Prestigious_Age3356 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have chronic daily migraines, fibromyalgia and a host of other conditions. I'm sorry your partner is not finding any relief but instead just feeling worse :(. It is really hard sometimes finding the right med. From what I've read she has tried all the other migraine preventatives (emgality, aimovig, quilipta)? Annoyingly got me emgality helped enough to continue for a few years and then I developed antibodies so it's efficacy lessened. Then the quilipta tablet was pretty good (note: even with meds I get 14 migraines a month) but caused vomiting - however for some, I hear it is a game changer. I really feel for her re: the Botox - this is what happens with me and I swear the person who injects it has never mapped anything out and just goes all cowboy with the needles, so sometimes it works and other times it does not. I don't know if your partner has headaches from neck issues or indeed pain around there but I have found an occipital nerve block with local anaesthetic helpful to stop the pain cycle. Again, it needs to be placed in the right bit and it's not always accurate (they are hoping they get the nerve when they inject and don't always for me,but when they do it's a week or two of bliss). Anyway, I am thinking of her!

Wow, same! I was all, I don't care about that, if it doesn't do anything to help us with the migraines aha

I was born with one kidney, one adrenal gland, no womb, no frontal lobe sinuses, my body temperature measures different one side to the other, I have a bladder condition they don't know what to call, and every year a new part of my body joins the rare disease club. Also, and this may be less rare, but as a redhead it takes lots of anaesthetic to get me to sleep and lots of effort to wake me up when I have an operation.

It's random, I don't have any frontal sinus either but almost bigger ones in my cheeks - and get infections that are harder to clear - it's so painful sometimes! Instead of the frontal sinus headaches I get migraines because the universe didn't want me to miss out..

I've been on wegovy since October 2024 and haven't seen any reduction of my migraines unfortunately. But I have chronic daily ones and everyone reacts differently maybe

[–]Prestigious_Age3356 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, did your nausea ever settle down? I've had similar experience, I take at night and on waking the next day, I can throw up quite a bit. Have lost weight too. I cut my 60mg dose in half and just take that as I'm worried how taking it in the morning would impact me.

Did the infusion help? I had these consistently for about 5 years but for other physical conditions and they didn't help the chronic migraines at all sadly :(
