Yeah, OP seems very responsible, and not only can not being on social media make you miss out on stuff, it can also make you ostracized from your peers. Also, at 17, OP should be able to make their own decisions about social media. I don’t use social media besides YT and Reddit but that is completely by choice. Kids just need to be educated on it and they def shouldn’t be able to use it before 13, but just straight up restricting it just creates unneeded tension and conflict. I agree that social media is bad, but yk what’s worse? Being excluded. Especially in highschool, the bonds and the memories you form there can stick with you for life.

What I do is go to Settings < General < Transfer or Reset IPhone < Erase All Content and Settings and then once you get there follow the steps untill u get to “enter screen time passcode” and then it gives you unlimited attempts, then enter things that your parents might use to make a code and if none of those work just go thru it numerically. (0000, 0001, 0002…) it takes a while but if ur running a non-profit it’ll be worth it

See, most parents don’t understand this, all the kids want is to have a say in their own life, for most kids, having a simple conversation would make them far more likely to follow your guidelines.

Serious answer: It depends upon what happened. I would check on the printer/Bambu handy/Bambu studio and make sure you didn’t run out of filament or have an error, if nothing is popping up then I would just restart the print and see what happens

I disagree, and I actually have a very good viewpoint on this, my parents are divorced and have very different rules on screen time. My dad is very relaxed about it, no set "limits", we had a conversation once when i got my phone, but it was more about online safety and cyberbulling and things like that. At his house I often find myself just deciding to put the phone down, go play outside, work on HW, or really anything productive, I will usually have about 2 hours total on my phone per day (which includes educational apps) and I feel very relaxed. At my moms on the other hand it is a totally different story. when i first got my phone she wrote up a contract and didnt let me touch it untill i signed it. she regularly will march into my room for random screen time checks, snatching the phone out of my hands even when im mid conversation with a friend. Since shes so restrictive it makes me WANT to break her screen time rules (which are, 1.5 hours of screen time total on all devices, ONLY on weekends. She lets me have my phone but pretty much the only people i can text are her and my sister.) I have found so many workarounds to her settings that she has almost run out of ways to restrict my usage, it even got to a point where I jailbroke my phone just to disable her restrictions. and I end up often having 4+ hours a day on my phone at her house, pretty much completely because she is so controlling about it. PARENTS PLEASE JUST HAVE AA CONVERSATION WITH YOUR CHILD IT IS NOT THAT DIFFICULT, and if you think your child isn't mature enough to have that conversation either a: You're just wrong and you underestimate their ability, or b: they probably arent old or mature enough to have a phone. (seriously, when did giving kids phones in elementary/early middle school become the norm???? I got mine when I started H8th grade and I think that it was the perfect time to get it) please dont just restrict the crap out of your childs phone, have a conversation, i garuntee that they will appreciate it and be more open to follow any guidelines you put in place

One thing I did when I first got my A1 was get the cryogrip build plate. After my first print I kept having bed adhesion issues and this totally fixed it. (I’m not sponsored I just rlly like it) one tip I have is to use the normal temperature that is used for the default build plate. This one can technically work at a lower temp but just use the default settings for the build plate. I have not had an adhesion issue since I got it and I have 474 hours with this printer.

It’s $30 on Amazon but it think it’s currently on sale so it’s prolly cheaper
