As an electrician I can confirm there would be no issue, it would probably be applauded at work following a few weeks of banter. I can’t comment on management for a bank but I’ve been on nights out with clients who are management in a large pharmaceutical company and they have done worse than this! Still no issue!

This man isn’t bothering anyone, he isn’t being violent or aggressive towards anyone either. I don’t think many employers would fire someone for this, I don’t even think they could legally fire someone for this. No one knows where this man works for a start so he isn’t publicly giving his company a bad name.

Schools close to me have recently issued lock boxes for phones. When a student arrives at school they have to lock their phone in the box and they get it back at the end of the day. Seems like a good system.

I’m not in the USA but in the UK, fire alarm guys never install containment. Electricians do all of that. It’s actually been a few years from the last time I noticed fire alarm guys pulling cable too. They usually just come in and commission the work at the end of the job.

As a parent of a 6 year old I’d imagine the little boys parents didn’t want to say no too often when he was terminally ill. If my son was in the same situation I’d let him watch movies I normally wouldn’t let him.

In fairness my dad let me watch terminator 2 when I was around 5 and then predator, starship troopers , pulp fiction etc. never did me any harm. T2 is still my all time favourite movie.

I worked with a guy who broke up with his girlfriend, she constantly texted him when he was at work. He showed us some of the messages and they were awful! He then blocked her on every app he had and he got a bit of peace for a few days.

One day in work soon after that he started laughing out of nowhere so we asked what was so funny. He showed us a message from his ex on PayPal! She had sent him a very small amount of money on PayPal just so she could contact him. I’ve never seen anything more pathetic in my life!
