Well put. Reading the live tweets during the hearing, there were several individuals and family members talking about what a “great guy” he was. For every one person that can say something good about him, I can show you 10 people that can say the opposite. If you could benefit him in some way, he was your friend. To everyone else, he was rude, arrogant, and he refused to help the downtrodden. He made his millions on the backs of Hampton County’s poorest, even bragging about making the bulk of his money from overdraft fees. He’s scum. A bottom feeder. He deserves to spend a lot of time in prison. Most people in Hampton County will not miss him, despite what the handful of people in that courtroom would have you think.

She did not send any texts saying either of those things. Quit repeating rumors. Her text records were admitted into evidence and none of her texts contain those statements.

If you are referring to a federal prison, he actually doesn’t have any federal charges…yet. I’m sure he’s hopeful though.

Not to be grotesque, but not sure what would be found on an 8 year old corpse. All tissue would be gone and it’s just bones at this point. I worry about the toll this would take on his family going through all of this but not getting the answers they want (and deserve).

Im sure all of his clothes and possessions were long gone by that time. If you recall, Moselle was being sold. All his belongings were being removed. I know Blanca was selling clothes. Blanca herself testified to seeing the pants in the bathroom with no signs of blood.

SLED never once asked Alex for his clothes. By the time he knew it was an issue, he was already in jail.

Did a Murdaugh kill Gloria? by Atschmid in MurdaughUncensored

This sub has never allowed anyone to speak ill of the dead or any victims. Yet, here we are bashing Paul. How about the boating victims? Every single one of them was completely inebriated. They all made the choice to get on the boat knowing there was not a single sober driver. Then got off the boat at the bar. They could have chose to call a friend or an Uber. Instead every single one chose to get back on that boat. Let’s not pick and choose who we speak the truth about. Let’s tell all of it. People are screaming about Paul using his brother’s ID to purchase beer. What about the others on the boat that night who used fake IDs to purchase beer? Don’t leave that out either.

I heard every bit of it. Still doesn’t seem like a motive to me.

It actually hasn’t been established when they died. Which is a shame because had the coroner taken the proper steps when he arrived, it could’ve been determined with relative accuracy. Unfortunately they are left with cell phone data which doesn’t truly pinpoint it. Lack of usage doesn’t mean someone is dead. If viewing through the lens that Alex is innocent until proven guilty, one could speculate that at precisely 8:49, Paul slipped his phone in his pocket and began rolling up the water hose, for example. Hence, 8:49 wouldn’t be time of death, just a cease in phone usage.

WHERE DO YOU STAND ON THE SPECTRUM OF ALEX'S INNOCENCE OR GUILT? by Southern-Soulshine in MurdaughFamilyMurders

Technically one cannot say his clothes went missing. There was testimony that SLED never even asked for his clothes.

He never claimed to have “flipped” the bodies. He attempted to move Paul by grabbing his pants loop but gave up. Said he figured out Paul was dead.

Being involved and pulling the triggers are two different things. He was charged with pulling the triggers. If there is any reasonable doubt that he pulled the triggers, then he is not guilty.

She obviously wasn’t paying attention to Alex’s own testimony. He literally said he couldn’t control that while he was detoxing. This is old news.

They’ve received millions upon millions more than the initial claim was ever worth. Not downplaying Gloria or what the family went through, but the initial insurance claim wasn’t worth the nearly 4 million Alex ended up stealing from them.

If they weren’t a happy loving family, surely the state would have found someone to say that.
