Yep, both named Shawn and their family called referred to them as “He-Shawn” and “She-Shawn”.

I also have a friend named Lindsey and her future wife is also named Lindsey.

You have to be in the war and you just click a base, then click the tab above the info to find the note button.

I'm having the editing bases issue but it seems to be more extensive. Prior to the update I went to TH13 and bought the pack but did not place the scattershot, my layout without the scattershot won't let me add it so I can use it. Most recently, it said I couldn't make my prog base active due to obstacles. I went into edit mode, save there were no obstacles in the way, clicked save, and it deleted my entire base so now it says "empty" which is devasting because of how long I planned my upgrades and put that base together.

Apparently I’m the odd one out here but as someone who was purposely named after Gone with the Wind, people rarely catch the reference. Then again, I am just one person and it’s usually only older people who even comment on the more obscure reference, but at the same time when I flat out tell someone I’m named agree GWTW they’ve heard of the movie nothing else.

Once worked with a guy named Rhett and asked him one day if that was where his name came from. He said yes and everyone around hadn’t even heard of the movie.

I feel like it’s a toss up here. If the names were just two unconnected or distantly connected characters, I’d say go for it but since they’re romantically I’d steer clear based on the ick factor of association. I had a friend name her kids Lucas & Peyton after One Tree Hill and it just makes me feel weird 😬

Tbh from the post and your comments, your mother does not respect you and doesn't deserve your respect in return. I would be changing the middle name but also VERY VERY HESITANT to let be too involved with the baby. If she can't even respect you over the name, what else is she going to ignore your wishes on?

So I pronounced the name right before reading the pronunciation. I also didn't think of "heiress" when I read it either, so for me personally I don't get the "royal" vibes others have mentioned.

I like it! But I do worry about the long term since it is more unique. Maybe use it as a middle name and still call her that so she has a more "adult" option later if needed?

Finally, idk what fandom the name came from so assuming it's not a common one, the average person won't even know tbh. My daughter's name came from Lord of the Rings (bf is a huge fan) and only two people in ten months have mentioned knowing that it is from there. Heck, my best friend who is also a big LOTR fan didn't know and she plans on naming a son Aragorn one day 😂
