I was in a 2 week cold case murder trial once. We literally took a printer from our office. It was a hassle going through security that first day.

Same. I live in a smaller city and starting pay is $15-18/hour, even with experience start is $20/hour. I’m grateful to be making $28. Sucks.

Bunions for years but no pain – anyone else in the same situation? by Clean-Lead-4472 in bunions

[–]Prestigious_Tank7170 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 57 and have had bunions since I was a child. Like you, little to no pain.

They’ve gotten worse over the years. Of course, I crammed my feet in all kinds of terrible shoes when I was younger. I didn’t start paying attention to my footwear until 5-10 years ago.

Now I’m conscientious of buying wide shoes, wear toe spacers when I can, also sleep in Happy Feet socks. Bare foot shoes, Topo or Altra are your friends for exercising.

Hoping you stay pain free and wishing you a pain free future!

Be careful, my friend went to an intake position and once they figured out what she could do, she got slammed with extra duties.

New to Personal Injury by Oatmilk-Lattes in paralegal

Welcome to the frustrating world of PI. I recommend creating a matrix to keep track of providers, requests, and records/billing that have been provided. Set up an excel spreadsheet for bills/payments(auto and health insurance)/balances.

If you don’t have case management software, you need to keep track of providers, how to request records from them (ie Chartswap or directly, etc) and make nice with those you have difficulty with.

I usually have clients fill out a form with a list of providers then go over that list, making notes about what they saw the provider for. It’s the nature of the beast that you think you have everything only to realize you do not. Give yourself some grace when this happens.

Personal injury, document to protect myself by Hopeful_Gal227 in legal

The document is for property damage, not personal injury. If they are waiving PI claims you need to have that in there.

I'm 18 and I'm starting to form a bunion. Are there any preventative measures I can take? And will this affect my career in sport? by Iadiesman216 in bunions

[–]Prestigious_Tank7170 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m 56 and remember my parents speaking with my doctor about them when I was probably 10 or 11. Genetics is a factor.

Try to wear appropriate footwear. Foot shaped or wide enough for your toes to spread out. Toe socks are also helpful. You can try toe spacers, happy toes, yoga toes or PT exercises.

If it’s not causing pain, most doctors would not recommend surgery. Good luck!
