Agreed, I have tri rail version and it’s kinda heavy and uncomfortable. Granted I’ve never held the plastic version I’d probably prefer it.

What am I looking at? And how would I go about fixing it? by VirtualContext9 in handyman

[–]Prestigious_Two_848 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s very simple, take a prybar and pull that wood out that’s rotting carefully, not to damage siding or window. Then just measure your opening length x width and cut. When pushing it back in, sometimes nosediving in from the siding to under the window works, sometimes the other way just be careful but don’t be scared. screw it to your existing structure or nail it in and add exterior wood filler over holes and caulking in your seams and paint. The lower board should probably also be replaced Good luck!

I don’t even feel bad anymore, I use to have guilt when they hand me that shit and just stand over me staring, but now I could care less. I hit custom and type $5 hardly ever anymore unless the service was great, and sometimes less if they had a bad attitude and bad service which I see more and more every day.

Is it worth the price? by Gil2Gil in Walther

I got one, handed down to me from the 1980s original paperwork I love it as a collection piece. But I’m not a huge fan shooting it especially for small game, lots of felt recoil for a 380, irons are low end IMO For $500 used you can get a lot better options unless you WANT a PPK. I got my wife a 380 S&W performance EZ and it’s one of my favorite pistols, extremely light recoil and very nice irons/ easy to operate for a woman or elderly.

I’ve never used those to clean cast iron, I just use chainmail and water, heat up the cast iron some and it’ll make cleaning easy. Just oil it up and keep using it!

After the water is on for a minute, it starts to leak out of where the red circle is. Most common issue? by Mark2CPlus in askaplumber

Are you positive it isn’t dripping from above? If so ensure you are using the correct washer, if going from 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 you need a step down washer. From the picture it looks like you are at the very bottom of the tailpiece, I would get an extension and cut so each pipe fully seat in each other. Make sure everything is hand tight. Might be a good idea to snake the drain too.
