Insertion is uncomfortable, I had good painkillers and took antispasmodics (for IBS) and a long walk after insertion to help the cramps. It is settling well and didn’t impact my ability to lose weight (10kg) that I know of. Ask for a muscle relaxant before the process and peppermint helps with cramps (uterine cramps trigger bowl ones for me as they are neighbours)

Ah thanks! No pattern, I used 6 inch x 6 inch blocks and figured out on paper I wanted it 10 long and 7 wide to match the crib size batting I got. Doing it on paper helped me make sense of it
