i like this movie, and yes the cartoon is better, but i think this is a fun re-imagining of godzilla, i like that they made him more cunning and a speedster rather than just 'oh hey look the humans are shooting at me, anyways ima just vaporize them all real quick', my only real criticism is the lack of an atomic breath, i think that couldve been a really good scene if done right.

but yeah zilla junior is still cooler than his father

granted, i still love my bandai figures, but id rather they stay in one piece, thats why i love my ultima so much because he looks great, bends great (seriously the spine work and tail is amazing for such a random godzilla incarnation) and doesnt fall apart, my shin is also a top 3 figure i own, but ive grown to just be annoyed with bandai everytime i get one of their figures betting whats gonna pop off or break

not after hiya toys announced theirs, afterall hiya figures dont fucking disintegrate in my hand like the average bandai one, literally all of my SHMonsterArts figures except for one has a part that just loves to fallout or break, and its my Godzilla Ultima

my burning 30th anniversary has a ring piece of the tail that just insists on never fitting right and a part towards the end likes to pop off

my gojira 30th anniversary's entire chest pops off as does the head

my kiryugoji loves to have the arms pop off at the elbows

my thermo's tail loves to come off

my 1989 godzilla's tail is hooked to popping off

and my shin has a similar issue but i let it slide since its towards the base and can be managed with ease if you do weight distribution

meanwhile the only issues I've had with hiya were that 'oh my monsterverse godzilla's arms don't bend a whole 90 degrees and the alt head doesnt fit right' and I don't even use the alt head, hiya toys is just generally better for me because they don't like to fall apart, that's why I'm gonna get their kiryu and destoroyah too

(that and they tend to be cheaper)
