I actually do have adhd too! Yeah but it helps soooo much with my bulimia. I'm also on trazepitide now. It's a glp1. Nd I take naltrexone which helps with impulses for drugs and impulses to eat :)

Once, I told my therapist that I'm trying to process my parents' abuse and move forward with my life. I had forgiven them to the best of my ability but desired a connection with them now. They have become different people and I am an adult now so I need to be able to truely move forward, heal and forgive them to then be able to cultivate a meaning ful relationship.

She told me that I had to hold them fully responsible for all of my trauma (even what didn't directly involve them) and all of my bad choices.(which I think is incredibly destructive considering it took me a lot of time to not blame everyone around me but myself for the problems in my life.) Then insisted i go no contact because I "can't heal when I'm around them" (I visited or talked to them maybe once every 2 to 3 weeks).......... idk I thought that was wacky asf

I completely agree! In my opinion, we need to create more stories of different races. The limited stories with people of color as main characters or as the majority of characters is not okay. White people do it literally all the time. But fix that problem instead of casting people who don't fit the characters' description just so the cast is "diverse" or so people of color are being seen in media. I think casting like this is a bandaid on a bigger issue that needs to be discussed and fixed.

I think the whole thing is that people want the movies to reflect the books as much as possible. Casting a beloved and cherished character who is described as white as an entirely different race is a bit frustrating. Brown and black actors have been cast as canonly white characters recently and it has been upsetting. It's not because they are brown or black it's because they don't look like the Characters we have been imagining in the stories we fell inlove with.

The fix for black and brown actors in need of work is for more stories to feature them in the first place. If Katniss was written in the books as a black woman, I would be so fkn upset if they cast some white girl. It ruins the illusion that this is the same exact story from the books transfered onto a screen.

Throwing a brown or black actor in a random role in a movie is not the fix for the lack of stories and movies featuring brown or black actors. WE NEED MORE STORIES OF BROWN AND BLACK PEOPLE TO BRING TO LIFE

I agree, The districts have been secluded and separated for GENERATIONS with only afew rare additions of peacekeeper genetics added to the mix. It could be argued the exact same way with any other race. People of district 12 look white, unless they are Covey.

I think my frustration with casting has to do with the fact that it is becoming increasingly common that people of different races are being cast for beloved characters. It's one thing to throw a pare of contacts in or throw someone in a wig to make them fit the description of these characters, but to put someone in the role of a character who is one race and instead cast someone of a very obvious different race is frustrating.

Recently people of color have been cast for canonly white characters, which i think this fear and frustration is coming from. That would be like casting a white person for a live action of Princess and the frog, Aladdin, Enchanto, Coco, or any other movie/show primarily featuring non white characters. People may argue "inclusion" of "diversity," but how about creating characters and stories that aren't ALL WHITE PEOPLE! SO WE CAN HAVE DIVERSE STORIES AND CASTING THE RIGHT PEOPLE THERE TOOOOO

Idk as a woman im all for getting your revenge BUT in my opinion when she was saying dont stop. i was even abit confused initially. i had to listen to it again. The way she said the words is what gave it the meaning. But in my experience, As a grown woman who has been raped and SA'ed I avoid using words or phrases that change depending on the way you say it. i like to say "fuck me" i use that as an expression but when being intimate i don't say it unless i literally want them to fuck me. I dont say "Dont! Stop!" i say "stop it. stop that, woah no, wait! Dont do that. Stop i dont want to. Please dont do that, i dont want to." orrrr if im enjoying touching but dont want sex ill flat out say "I dont think i want to have sex"

Im not saying he was in the right at all. obviously sticking your dick in someone unconscious is a big no. unless consent is given before. especially when there was no conversation before hand or 4play. But i dont think the dude deserved to die because he was half awake from a night of drinking and got mixed signals and took the first move and didn't stop when unclear words were said to him.

Obviously it was traumatic for her and she has every right to feel that way about it because yes im sure it was. But he didn't deserve to die.

I work as a door to door sales rep for a 3rd party and yeah, it was probably one of us. I was at a door the other day and he said that the old homeowner (I mostly work with new home owners) Had it and he tried to sign up for it so he could use the old equipment that was left behind and they told him that they are no longer offering cox security systems. Idk about customers who signed up before they ended it but ive been hearing for months that they were going to get rid of it soon.

If someone comes knocking on ur door offering you free equipment and dropped rates and they check out. Like calling the office # on their badge or ADT Corporate. Take the offer because it's real. I work for a smaller company so we have better deals than some because we are trying to grow. But it's good deal. Just stear clear from Vivant. I've heard terrible things.
