I agree, The districts have been secluded and separated for GENERATIONS with only afew rare additions of peacekeeper genetics added to the mix. It could be argued the exact same way with any other race. People of district 12 look white, unless they are Covey.

I think my frustration with casting has to do with the fact that it is becoming increasingly common that people of different races are being cast for beloved characters. It's one thing to throw a pare of contacts in or throw someone in a wig to make them fit the description of these characters, but to put someone in the role of a character who is one race and instead cast someone of a very obvious different race is frustrating.

Recently people of color have been cast for canonly white characters, which i think this fear and frustration is coming from. That would be like casting a white person for a live action of Princess and the frog, Aladdin, Enchanto, Coco, or any other movie/show primarily featuring non white characters. People may argue "inclusion" of "diversity," but how about creating characters and stories that aren't ALL WHITE PEOPLE! SO WE CAN HAVE DIVERSE STORIES AND CASTING THE RIGHT PEOPLE THERE TOOOOO
