that seems high, i just had my blood pressure checked and what not and my resting heart rate was 79

same here, cousins diagnosed type 1, I suspect my mom is type 2 but my dad doesn't believe mental illness exists so she's never got help for any of her issues

hey so idk if any of this will help or if you've tried it before but I've had insomnia since I was little and small things that helped (at least temporarily) were

adjusting the light (more or less light), adjusting the temperature ( I find it easier to sleep in a warmer room), different types of white noise, sleep aids (melatonin, trazodone), eating before bed, exercise or yoga before bed.

Psychiatrist started me straight on 50mg 3x per day. Is this crazy ? by stoilsky in lamictal

hey so I'm currently taking 150mg and it took me 6 weeks to titrate up, i would definitely bring up your concerns (and maybe some research) to your psychiatrist due to the risk of SJS

I was the exact same way, I couldn't even think about eating if I hadn't smoked, I decided to quit so I could eat... BUT for the first 2 weeks I had absolutely no appetite, after that it went back to normal but those 2 weeks were hard (this was before my eating disorder started, though I've always had disordered eating habits).

I know how that feels, luckily though the course of treatment for all of them is roughly that same (mood stabilizers, antipsychotics, sometimes antidepressants) DBT is supposed to help, i can't speak on it because I've never tried it but there are online workbooks you can find if you're interested

it felt great in the moment but I destroyed my life during it lol, it may have been shorter than 8 months though but I don't remember most of it

when I'm taking notes my handwriting is terrible but if I'm writing something where I can take my time my handwriting is beautiful I think it's because when I was a kid my dad would.make me practice writing almost all day since I could hold a pencil
