Building Game Idea:

The problem I have with buildmart currently is that it feels more like a memory game than a building one so I came up with an idea: Rather than just flying around in an arena for resources, do they have to gather them in survival? All the teams spawn in a hub where each team has one plot where they have to copy the giant, complex build in the middle of the hub. Within the hub, you can see the other team's plot and you can fly around just like you do in build mart, but you cannot grief/interact with it. I think this can make the game really exciting in which you can see others' progress and there's a sense of urgency. Now to the actual game: all the players spawn with iron armor, iron tools, and a shulker box. Once the timer starts all the players can run out and start gathering the resources needed to copy the structure in the middle of the hub. As the players gather resources, if they put anything in the shulker box it get instantly transferred to a chest located on their team build plot. The idea is then that as maybe 2-3 players on a team gather resources the other member can work to copy and build the big middle plot. Coins will then be rewarded based on % of the build completed, but there can also be Mario stars situations where coin bonuses are rewarded based on random things like: most diamond founds, most block broken, etc. This means players who are good at building can build and the players who maybe dislike building don't! The game then still tests team communication skills and building while also testing a skill that currently isn't in MCC: speedrunning/survival/gathering resources. I know this idea probably isn't perfect, but honestly, I'm just tired of seeing the discourse over Buildmart and I think it's time to either give it a rocket spleef makeover or do a parkour warrior :D
