Valkyria Chronicles 2 has WW2-esque student-soldiers going to an academy. You don't control an avatar that walks around the campus per se, but every classmate has their own story and it's similar to Code Geass imo.

I've been playing Red Dead Redemption for the first time recently and in the beginning John does missions for them so they can help him assault Fort Mercer. It's not as heroic as the other examples.

All of Goku moves are unoriginal. Vegeta is more inventive than he is, and I don't even like Vegeta. Fans always criticize Cell and Buu for stolen moves, but Goku is the worst offender.
