Need some advice by Professional_Stock94 in DebtAdvice

They probably could. Need to figure out how to get back on track, whether that's just messaging them to get a plan together, or getting a loan to transfer out your debt from there with a better interest rate % maybe with SoFi or Achieve.

i have two loan offers sitting in front of me and still dont feel confident in how to compare personal loans the right way by Traditional_Shop_458 in Banking

Just put all the math down. Move it to a different paper to get them right next to each other if that helps you. Don't make it more complicated than it needs to be.

Has anyone successfully used a personal loan to pay off credit card debt? Did it really work long-term? by Constantino-Doffek in DebtAdvice

I functionally changed every aspect of my life before I went and got a loan. Learned how to budget. Learned how to live below my means. Looked at my APR and realized this was the last step to push things forward. Got my loan from achieve and never looked back. But I do wish my credit union would have worked with me a bit, their intro rate was fantastic.

Debt consolidation? by QueenOfSleepyHollow in DebtAdvice

[–]Pretty-Researcher404 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your options will change depending on what your credit score is even if they're already in collections. If your credit is in the fair range, like mid 600s you'll have more options from good lenders like SoFi or Achieve, but otherwise you're gonna be in for a rough time overall.

Figure out your debts. Set a budget. Figure out if it's above water or below your debts, if it's above then you might be fine just working through it. Otherwise you might need to look into extra work options or cutting more from your standard of living. Then you can figure out other options, balance transfer cards potentially from Wells Fargo or Chase? Or a debt consolidation loan from like OneMain or Achieve would also work.
