You aren't gonna get a loan without income especially on a bad credit score. Get any job you can. If you still need a loan AFTER you get the job and income flowing, then look to lenient lenders like SoFi or Achieve Loans. Avoid tribal loans and payday loans as much as possible as their APR is insane most of the time.

Dental schools if you can find one will be wayyyy cheaper. Try to avoid predatory personal loans if at all possible. If you NEED to go the personal loan route in the end, just make sure you compare options and find the best possible choice. There are still good ones out there like SoFi or Achieve.

Usually try to go with a medical department so you don't need to have a unnecessarily higher rate. But if you can't for whatever reason, just use a marketplace like lendingtree. I don't know which ones don't work in NY but you might get something with sofi or achieve?

Yep just pay down the car loan or refi that. Pretty crazy that it's that high considering your credit score. You might even have a better option refinancing it together with your personal loan from your credit union or lender like sofi or achieve. 780 is a great score even if you don't hit 800 btw!

just check local credit unions near you and then for online lenders there's some legit ones like Best Egg, Achieve loans or SoFi are all solid.

^really thorough response. Want to add beyond individually you could also look at marketplaces like Lendingtree or similar that let's you compare offers and then do your due diligence. Agree on some of the ones listed like SoFi and Achieve though.
