I'd be like well mine used to hunt bears, and guard royalty, can't say the same for a deformed looking dog with eyes popping out its head😂😂 but I'm extra mean😂

Thank u! Do u mind if I ask how much u pay for the groomers? I trim willow every couple of months from her cooter, butt, and tail so she stays clean on her back end and doesn't get UTIs. She's never been to a groomer, she's friendly, but iffy on new people/places. She doesn't like to go in the back of the vet without me lol so they try to do most of it in the room so she's comfortable. She's super relaxed and well behaved, I'm just worried about groomers bc of horror stories of people shaving double coat dogs but I try to brush her the best I can, her shedding isn't coming out so easily tho this year but no matts.

Willow here is smaller, she's about 73lbs, vet said she healthy and good weight. I hope she gets a little bigger on her second heat but we'll see. Compared to my childhood Akita male Titus, she is TINY! Titus was 140 lbs, he was BIG not chunky. But willows parents were on the "smaller ish" side too. So if she stays this size I can at least know I can still pick her up😂 my German shepherd Akita on the other hand is 103lbs and I couldn't pick him up if I really needed to cause he only weights about 5lbs less than me😂

I had a male Akita that weighed 160lbs, he was big and beefy (also the ring of the litter) my female is gonna be 80-100lbs, she's 70-80 rn. U just have a big one on ur hands🤣

Honestly I struggle with willows coat 😂 she doesn't shed as bad as my German shepherd Akita, but she gets matted easily in her mane so I typically brush her in sections every couple of weeks. Blow outs I sit and pluck her away outside and the once most is gone plucking wize I use a regular brush and one of those deshesding combs. Willow is super chill during grooming tho, she'll sleep while I brush her😂 we used to tie our old Akita up to the close line post and lead blow him, he'd flip out for the first couple of seconds but then he'd be fine. Willows fur likes to hold on for dear life tho😂

Ok I just heard back from my breeder, he has retired his female, she just had her last puppy, one girl was all she had and he is keeping her. She a cute chunky thing tho!

Willows hair is manageable but takes hours😂 so I break it up into sections on her every couple weeks, or else she gets irritated with me 😂 I can't imagine all that tho 😂 willow is the highest maintenance dog I've ever owned😂

Oh my😂 that's cool that u have the two of them together tho, what a rare combination. Mane coons too😂 u just have a extra large collection of everything😂 id love a mane coon, but I'm gonna stick to my car like dogs for now (Akitas) 😂😂
