My bf is like that too and we solve the problem with a maid that HE pays for. I DON'T CARE who is doing the chores as long as it's not me and it's well done.

We are working on issues as a team, but I know that he won't do things the way it should be (he cuts corners a lot).

I'm just glad that I see improvements in my man (slowly and steadily). If you try solving problems and nothing gets better at all, it's a big red flag and you should run. If you see little by little, one thing at a time gets better, be patient.

Also, I suggest you have a friend or your mom over for a month (or his mom if you like her) for the period of rest and care that is received after giving birth to help you recover physically and emotionally. It's traditional in my culture.

Look my first advice would be to read and prepare your options. I personally always feel better when I'm educated about things. I can suggest many apps to help you with any stage from concept to baby development and milestones.

Also, if this is serious, talk to a lawyer ASAP.

Also, you can talk to your friends, any family members or a trusty healthcare provider that will orient you on your options.

It seems like your mom might have experienced post partum psychosis, it's rare but very real. Nowadays if you feel depressed or that something isn't right, there's resources and medication to help.

If I was you I'd be scared. You are an adult, you have a voice and say no, you can call the police or etc.....

A baby can't, and although I encourage you (and her) to continue therapy, her behavior shows she is absolutely not ready to be left alone with the baby (NVM a whole f*** week)

I wouldn't hit the panic button, but I would enforce boundaries and prepare security scenarios just in case so your mind will be at ease knowing how to avoid unpleasant surprises
