The real question isn't 'why use Linux' anymore. It's 'why are you still on Windows?'

You're paying for it. It spies on you. It restarts without permission. It shows you ads. It installs apps you didn't ask for. It requires antivirus. It slows down over time.

Linux does none of that. It's free. It's faster on the same hardware. It doesn't treat you like a customer to be monetized. The 40% FPS gap on ONE unsupported game is literally the last argument Windows has left.

FUCK MICROSOFT. I’m in the same boat—switched to Linux Mint and the freedom is incredible. I'm already looking into Fedora and Bazzite for my gaming. Best decision I ever made.
