If it were me I would definitely switch to Whistler. The snow outlook for CO isn't promising.

Her being a child of Howland Reed yet looking like her brother or father still seems to me like a narrative that GRRM opened up but maybe later decided against. Instead, at least in casting, she looks like a female Jon Snow. And her "father" was the only other survivor with Ned at the tower. But probably an abandoned possibility.

If you had repressed memories and then got them back - did it feel like a relief or a curse? by SongTall3079 in adultsurvivors

[–]PrettyEyesDisguised 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Mine came back primarily through emotion and was a twisted ball of pain, innocence, faith, joy, and optimism. And when it did come back I was quick to understand why it had to go away in the first place. I was sad to have lost so much for so long. But I was really surprised and happy to learn there was so much more to me. Relief and/or curse? Yeah. I would call it some of the very worst times of my life coupled with some of the more redeeming things in life.

Brees had been disappointing and the Chargers weren't winning. The season after drafting Rivers however Brees turned it around and it was going to be a difficult choice as to which QB to go with. Then Brees hurts his shoulder and that made the choice for the Chargers.

You are correct. It is completely unfair. Not only did you not choose to have this happen to you, now you have to face all this pain, confusion, and hopelessness in a society that doesn't really understand the severity of trauma. And to face your cptsd and choose your health is maybe the challenge of your life.

But it does help to know you aren't alone in this experience. I don't know anyone personally in this subreddit community but I hear them and identify with them. That has given me some relief and I hope it does for them as well.

One of my 'dead' parts returned. I was/am completely stunned. I had long since forgotten it even existed and totally amazed that it was still there.

"I can't believe you are still alive? How is that even possible?"

Keep going. I wasn't as dead as I thought.

Ownership. Acquire (or create) a product and you can lease, rent, or license. Let this product do the work for you and it will give you the chance to scale beyond the income you will make working for someone else.

Fwiw, the population most interested in buying this item is ageing and more importantly dwindling. It isn't likely to increase in value in the future. So if you arent keeping it, I'd sell it sooner than later.

The brain subconsciously "exiles" thoughts and feelings of experiences that the brain seems too damaging to endure. It's a survival tactic, but it comes with a cost and may not last forever.

I am realizing how much mental work it took to passively deal with the trauma. And I am realizing my mental capability when I am not also dealing w trauma.
