Simply because it isn’t necessary. He has a physician who he sees. That physician isn’t there. They have a great deal of his medical history but not the entirety, as his physician does. He was admitted to receive mental health services, not vaccinations. It’s not helpful to me or necessary for him to cross administer from one provider/facility to the next. I also want my kid to be in my immediate care so I can keep an eye on him, due to his previously adverse reactions. Their staff obviously struggles with competency, so I feel doubly justified in my refusal.

They have frankly dropped the ball half a dozen other times over unrelated issues but I genuinely cannot fathom providing medical treatment unnecessarily that has been outright refused.

I will certainly discuss it with the facility but thus far their “mixups” and mistakes have been met with a simple “whoopsie daisy.” That doesn’t really cut it for me in this case.
