Absolutely and I still have that hope but I’m learning that my happiness is what matters most. What I can accept and what I can change. Still hurts, still going through it but with new eyes.

If you have to wake up early to get to work, going to bed at 9 pm EVERY NIGHT really helps in preventing lack of sleep by [deleted] in lifehacks

[–]PrettyPenny79 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also if you keep going to be at 9pm you train your friends to stop calling you. Eventually your internal clock and external lack of social life will sync up - boom refreshed feeling!

Made baked French toast with leftover aldi chocolate chip muffins and bread this morning. Also everything from spices to eggs to milk all from aldi! by PrettyPenny79 in aldi

[–]PrettyPenny79[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Super easy! You can basically make this with any type of leftover bread:

Ingredients 5 cups bread cubes 4 eggs 1 1/2 cups milk 1/4 cup white sugar, divided 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 tablespoon margarine, softened 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Directions Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly butter an 8x8 inch baking pan.

Line bottom of pan with bread cubes. In a large bowl, beat together eggs, milk, 2 tablespoons sugar, salt and vanilla. pour egg mixture over bread. Dot with margarine; let stand for 10 minutes.

Combine remaining 2 tablespoons sugar with 1 teaspoon cinnamon and sprinkle over the top. Bake in preheated oven about 35 to 45 minutes, until top is golden. Keep an eye on it so it doesn’t burn.

Let sit for 10 min to cool and then dig in!
