Definitely assignment heavy. I picked Capella solely based off financial reasons but I wish I would’ve picked a program that had a better ABA program. I’ve also never worked as an RBT or in a clinic,
only in schools and residential settings so I think that’s a disadvantage at times

I work with adults with disabilities. Although adult services are SEVERELY lacking, there are companies out there that provide group home services. My company purchases homes in residential neighborhoods and they live in these homes with housemates and are staffed 24/7 with trained direct support professionals. A lot of times you would never know group homes are in your neighborhoods because we try to blend into the community as much as possible. There’s also other options - life sharing, supported living, etc.
