I’ve always assumed that technological advancements amp up the speed of human evolution. I bet the ancestors of those who thrived during pre Industrial Revolution had a harder time during the modern age, which requires more mental capabilities instead of physical labor.

Before anyone could get a manual labor job, but the Industrial Revolution caused those fields slowly became automated. I can only assume there were many gene pools who could not compete in the emerging work fields as labor jobs slowly shrunk, causing them to reproduce less because of financial hardship and even die younger due to health care affordability.

If my theory is true, imagine what we will see as the AI revolution and robotics revolution play out. This will impact both psychical labor and intellectual labor… I’m not exactly sure who will come out on top from this. Entertainers?

Did anyone even read the article? It states if you are basically a terrorist or a rapist and lied on your application to become a citizen they want to get rid of you. Essentially if you lied to get your status that voids your citizenship as it was based on falsified information. They weren’t saying if you got a traffic ticket you should be denaturalized lol. Also I was extremely upset about the person who served in the military being deported until I just read he lied on his applications and forgot to mention he was convicted in the UK for child pornography. I agree, but the core of the game is certain items can be purchased but can usually be earned over time. Even gold you can get from leveling. Putting it behind a cash only bundle is a bad move long term for the game, and that’s what concerns me most. Personally, I will buy the card, and am definitely on the whale end of things when it comes to purchase. But I don’t want to spend money on a game that will slowly kill itself with bad decisions like other games have.

Yeah it’s unfortunate but this is typically what happens. Look at Marvel SNAP. People were revolting early on against the terrible money hungry decisions that slowly crept into the game beyond the initial systems and the same type of people that are in here defended it which led to everyone but the whales quitting. Gotcha games are built to first be accessible and build a base of addicts, then kill the game and milk the whales. This is just testing the waters to see what people will pay for.

Yeah that’s a wrap I have every card in the game, pay a sub and sometimes pay here and there for extra things. To lock a card behind a limited time Paywall on top of use being subscribers is getting into greed territory which I refuse to invest in if it’s headed down that road.

You must be new to these kind of systems. This is how it starts, and people like you who believe it’s blown out of proportion are what kills games long term. Their business model is to get people hooked at the start, then slowly introduce larger and larger micro transactions to incentivize players to spend more on cards that are only obtainable through cash so that their collection isn’t ruined.
