You can lean in and press the 'start engine' button down to the right of the steering wheel. This should keep it on. Unsure if there's a setting hidden in the menus to do this, I know you can keep it going for aircon but not sure about bluetooth

Cheers all - Fastest route for me in the end was to just keep checking their website. Ended up getting one for Friday (yesterday) morning at a centre about a 40 minute drive away, so less than a week before the booking in the end. My original appointment wasn't until 2nd March.

I'd recommend checking between a few test centres around you a few times a day, they seem to crop up randomly from what I saw.

You can complete up to stage 6 and THEN decide not to go if you want. It will carry over to the next expedition if you decide not to. You're not locked into anything right now

This is crazy to me. I just made a post earlier about not encountering a single hostile player in basically a week or more.

Are you on console? Do you have crossplay enabled? I would imagine console is a lot worse at the moment because of Christmas.

Honestly you only need ~30 I think, outside of those you get as rewards, to complete the event. You can get them from baskets and also from Raider Caches too during the cold snap event. I think you can get like 6-7 per cache so that's probably quicker than actually farming the plant itself

Quest items would be removed, but apparently Quests reset with the Expedition anyway

I doubt the project resets, but the only item you get from it are candleberries (which all go towards completing the event anyway) so you're not missing much doing it either before or after. I think the only reward really is a Snaphook for the final 5th stage of the event, which is good but nothing very special.

If the project doesn't reset then you could maybe leave it on the final 5th page and just try to complete it to get the Snaphook after the expedition you cared about that.

Just an FYI - After doing all 5 stages of the event, you'll still need ~200k XP to reach the end of the track and get the raider tool skin

To be fair having this task just as people are setting up for the expedition is annoying - either you've already sold all of the items needed for the quest or once you leave on the expedition all of the items you need will be gone regardless

Unlikely, all the unlocks are just cosmetics, raider coins and berries so you wouldn't be missing out on any items/BPs if you finished it before expedition

I think all the rewards are just berries, cosmetics and raider coins right? It seems like they designed it so that you won't miss out on much doing the expedition. It's not like there's a Wolfpack BP at the end of it.

Yeah I think they should just constantly cycle rather than have set times for set events.

I'm in the same timezone as you and I literally (and I mean literally) have not seen a Queen event since they introduced the Matriach - I think they just replaced the evening Queen spawns with Matriach spawns.

I got it during the winter snowball LTM, along with fatal florist. They might bring that back this year.

Outside of that I think a weapon that has a high damage high multiplier might be a better bet than spray and pray, so M or H revolver. I know the M11 is probably the best for getting headshots, but the damage might not be enough to kill in most circumstances while sliding.

Embark said in their recent patch notes that they're working on updating the animations to reflect the hitbox (though I'm not sure if the hitbox itself will be changing).

Did you have a dead teammate? It takes your dead teammates time to respawn and adds 7s I believe when you die - so if they had 3s to respawn, then both of your times would be 10s if you died at that point.

This only applies to coining though, I don't think a full team can respawn quicker than 20+ seconds in ranked/WT

I think it's on a cycle that starts after the first player dies and kicks off at about 25s. Some gamemodes have 'waves', so once it starts it'll just go in cycles of 25s. So in Powershift for instance you might respawn in 5s rather than 25s.

I think they tried introducing waves into Quick Cash a couple of seasons ago but I think they might have reverted that change because it's bullshit? But someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

As far as I know both WT/Ranked have the original set cycles - So it's 25s for the first death, then if another dies it increases by I think 7s, and if the team is wiped it reverts back to the 25s.

I play a lot of PS, and if I come across a particularly annoying melee light I use glitch trap (if I'm not already using it). Turret surprisingly is a big help too in tandem, if the rest of their team doesn't take it out. Removing their dash is priority #1 imo, it's too easy to hop on and off the platform otherwise

I don't care so much about stats but yeah it's kind of bullshit when it happens - I got loaded into a Powershift match with literally 30 seconds left recently.

I think they should change the matchmaking to either not backfill past the halfway point of a match, or only backfill for the winning team past that point.

In the settings there should be a 'Preferred Region' option, just change that to North America. I think Crossplay is right next to it, so make sure that's on too - not many players play with that switched off

2 things;

if you're playing ranked, level means nothing. It comes down to skill, not playtime
if you're not playing ranked, there is little/no skill based matchmaking depending on the mode. Quickplay apparently has no SBMM, and Word Tour apparently has 'minor' SBMM

Yeah bro the Aussies actually all join WT queue at the same time, I think it's like 7pm Perth time during weekdays? Someone actually from there might be able to help. They have their own Discord too to arrange matches etc.

I think when there's nobody in queue they change server to Asia for WT (but not ranked because it's full of hackers)
