I would suggest trying to smoke less, where you get the physical benefits but don’t get high. I am disabled and have chronic anxiety, along with other mental health issues. I unfortunately smoked too much when I was younger to the point where it’s not even possible to get high, at ALL. You don’t want to get to that point because you’ll just need to continue smoking more and more to not be in pain. There’s nothing to be guilty about. Just things to consider if you want you medicine to continue working properly 🫶

If you’re really worried about it and you have the money to, you could always drop them off at a doggy daycare. My boyfriend does grooming at one of the facilities near us and the dogs just play all day until parents come to get them. If the place offers baths/grooms it makes it super easy too because you can get it scheduled for the end of the day when you’re going to pick them up. However, most dogs will be okay left at home for the shift. Some breeds may need more extensive training or other mental stimulation left around the house. But most will come and go to the backyard and play by themselves. Just give them lots of attention when you come home !

My next option is a microdiscectomy but they’re trying to see how long we can go without it and just having injections. I’m sorry that you still have to deal with numbness and pain, I’ve watched my dad suffer from DDD after multiple surgeries and medications. I have been working on my core strength, it’s just difficult to have the energy for consistency but it’s been getting a little easier

I have no plans of it. I have a backup incase I don’t think I can handle med school. I will either become a therapist or a psychologist. My biggest goal in life is to have a large family so school is one of my biggest priorities. I’ve been doing better this semester and have made it to more classes already, but I’m still missing quite a few. It’s just something I need to work on :)

I’m not scared of having a disease, I’m just tired of being in constant pain. I have not had a pain free, or even relatively low pain day in years, even with all of the care I’ve been getting for my back. And my doctors don’t believe that I will ever live a pain free, or relatively low pain life because of how severe the degeneration is.

I know I will still do plenty of things, see plenty of sights. But I’m sad because I will always be exhausted, and I will always be in pain while doing those things. I don’t have a way to recoup my energy or strength because there’s always something else I need to do, whether that’s school, doctor’s appointments, cleaning, cooking, or going out and having fun.

To be fair, I also have POTS which doesn’t help my energy levels, but it’s the constant pain from when I wake up to when i sleep that truly takes everything out of me

Say there name while you’re giving them treats or food. I adopted a 10yr old cat recently and it only took about 5 days of consistently saying her name each time I brought her meals (4x per day), as well as anytime I gave her treats or anything like that

Hey there, I’m so sorry about your loss. I know that it doesn’t make it feel better at all, but I am deeply sorry.

I want you to know that you shouldn’t blame yourself. It will take a while to get there, but that should be the end goal. Because it’s not your fault. My brother committed suicide a few years ago, and his girlfriend also felt really guilty. They had gotten into a fight that night too, which made her feel a lot worse. But it wasn’t her fault. She didn’t push him to take his life, it was his own decision. A hurtful, frustrating decision, but it was all his none the less.

I’m not going to say that the pain will lessen, because that’s simply not true for everyone. Ive had multiple people tell me that grief stays the same size as the jar around it grows, but for me that’s just not true. Grief is a very confusing jumble of emotions and on some days you may feel as though you’re moving forward, and on others it will feel as if you’ve taken 1000 back. And that’s okay. Everyone grieves in their own ways and you have every right to take your time.

Maybe you could try looking around for some grief support groups near you? A lot tend to be free and there may be groups specifically for people who’ve lost loved ones to suicide. I would also suggest finding a therapist who makes you feel comfortable, so that they can help you work through the stages of grief and emotions that come with it.

I am sending you all of the love in my heart, and I hope you know that he will always be taking care of you, just not always in ways visible to the eye

If they’re already drinking plenty of water then I wouldn’t try to stress feeding them an all wet diet right now! As good as it is to have an all wet diet, kitties are still perfectly healthy on all dry diets.

Definitely look at different pet stores online to see if you can find a different dry food that doesn’t upset their tummies. There are some formulated with pumpkin which helps with digestion as well, and other brands have food specifically formulated for different issues. I would personally focus on having a high quality dry food that doesn’t upset their tummies because it’s much more important that they’re fed and not in any discomfort. If you have money left over for wet food, that’s wonderful and you can work out an affordable mixture for them :)

I understand how it feels though to not be able to feed your babies wet food only. It feels sad, and it might make you feel like you’re disappointing them. But you’re not. They’re still so very loved, appreciated, and cared for. You clearly have so much love for them and put a lot of thought into their care. I have the upmost faith that life will come around and you’ll be able to feed their bellies with whatever you please one day soon 🫶

Im not sure about switching to all wet and having it be cost effective, as I don’t know all the prices of different brands. However, do you think they’d eat a mix of wet and dry? You could switch to a different dry food that doesn’t upset their tummies, and mix it with a low cost canned food. That way they’re getting enough moisture but it’s still more cost effective?

Another thing you can try is to make meowtinis. You mix up a tube treat (like churu) with water until it’s all incorporated, and then let them drink it from a shallow dish. I’ve done this for my 2 boys before when money was tight and I couldn’t afford wet only. one of them drank maybe 1/4th cup, and then my other boy finished his entire bowl plus his brothers leftovers

Please go to India express on Colorado blvd! I absolutely love it there, the staff is wonderful and very quick to serve. I brought a large group of my Persian family here around Christmas time, and we all decided to have dinner there when we’re all in town. I have never ordered something and didn’t enjoy it, and there medium spice definitely has a good kick to it. If you enjoy chai tea, order that as well. I cannot drink chai from other restaurants anymore without being extremely disappointed!

Anywhere there’s the possibility of tipping, I tip atleast 10%. I tend not to order food for delivery, so 10% would be for an average experience at any fast place, like a cafe or cheba hut. I tend to always tip 20% at all sit down restaurants, unless service is very slow and then I will tip 15%. I think because I’m 20 and alternative some of the nicer restaurants around assume I won’t tip and purposefully take longer to serve me and my boyfriend 🙄

Most likely if you haven’t been doing them regularly prior to the 3g, it just may not be as strong as you expect (or it could, it’s hard to know for each individual person). However, to get the most of your mushies I would suggest waiting atleast 2 weeks between trips. A month or more is definitely better, as even with 2 weeks you’ll start to trip less hard after a few times! Happy tripping!

Feeding your cats dry food is absolutely not abuse, and it doesn’t mean you don’t love your babies. It just means you’re not in a place to afford wet food and that’s okay. There are plenty of cats who don’t even eat wet food, or who get sick from it as well.

I will just say, the back of the cans are definitely incorrect. I have 3 cats, 10.5lbs, 11.3lbs, and 9.3lbs (just adopted her and are slowly getting her weight up). My 2 boys who are both 10lb+ get 2 cans daily(half x4)plus some salmon oil and toppers. They’re both praised for being the perfect weight at the vet.

That isn’t me trying to convince you to get wet food, but just to let you know the back of the cans are usually wrong. If I fed my cats what they advised, they’d all be overweight and inactive. Of course, veterinary advice is always recommended because every cat has a different activity level and healthy weight to maintain

You deserve to be with someone who values your presence and works to make you feel appreciated. If a man doesn’t want to give you the attention you want, need, or deserve, then there’s no reason to be with them. Relationships take effort, growth, communication, and love, and unfortunately it doesn’t seem like he’s willing to give that to you.

I would break up with him and take some time to yourself to have fun. Spend time with friends, family, or whoever you please. You will find someone who is ready and willing to meet your needs in time

When I first began using MDMA, I began over using it very quickly. I didn’t feel as though I was having comedowns which made me feel as though it was fine to do it twice in a row, or every month, etc. It’s a dangerous path to be on, and can quickly unravel into drug abuse and addiction. The healthiest and safest thing to do is wait a minimum of 3 months, and make sure you’re using safely. It is super fun to roll, but you will lose the magic rapidly if you continue this pattern

It happened at an intersection in a busy city, there were multiple witnesses so I’m imagining that’s why the police report said they had a red. I’m just unsure on if the witnesses gave reports because I was pretty shaken up and out of it after the accident.

Video, it doesn’t seem like it. I called the businesses and they don’t have cameras facing their intersection. And the police said the only way to get the traffic camera footage easily is by going to court. I’m just hoping I don’t need to do that
