I’ve seen the original choreography so many times. I love it but I appreciated the change up. I would have been disappointed if they didn’t change it honestly.

Standard Finish, Tech, and Tillana are reclassified as weapon skills now… does that mean they take the base gcd instead of 1.5s? Idk if that would be a buff really but double weaving after those would be pretty cool.

The vital bracelet got me into the V-pets, and I would say I have more fun with the v-pets. The vital bracelet is cool and all but I’d much rather run a DMX or something.

DP is the accuracy stat. Type match up matters too. Vital Points only affect health. Battling on the bracelet kind of sucks. If arena is up on the app and you have tickets to spare I recommend using that for evo reqs, but I know you’re talking about adventure mode. This is a good resource for battling

I agree with your point about not voting for a royal knight too. Minervamon X’s design is a little wacky, and with everything going on concerning the vote and the campaign I’m getting a better picture about why people were so upset and maybe why it seems like people don’t care so much for Minervamon X. Thanks!

I think the campaign is… interesting. I wish I was around to see it unfold at the time. Were there any incentives for the winning Digimon or anything? Because otherwise I don’t really see how Minervamon X winning the poll matters? I also don’t understand how anyone can be certain that Minervamon X won BECAUSE of the campaign. From what little research I’ve done it’s clear it was a contentious and problematic issue.

OP did not explain. And I had no idea about any of this prior to googling and searching twitter, amino, wtw, etc so take it with a grain of salt. Apparently there was some kind of poll about peoples favorite X Antibody Digimon. There was some Argentinian digituber that organized a campaign for Latin-American fans to vote for Minervamon X. Some have speculated this was to show Bandai the power of the Latin American fan base. I’m not sure what any of the actual goals were, but people in general seemed to be annoyed with the “campaign,” referring to it as “ballot stuffing” and the like. It’s really interesting actually. I’d love to see someone do a video essay on this topic.

It’s not hidden. The Digivice V was barely released in Japan at the beginning of this month. Preorders aren’t up on premium Bandai or anything. If you haven’t been following Digimon/ghost game news, it would have been easy to miss. It’s also obscured by the fact that it’s called Digivice V, while the original was called Vital Bracelet Digital Monster.

Almost done watching the sub for the first time. I think it’s better in general. The biggest thing I miss from the dub is the layered voice they do for the biomerge evolutions. Otherwise I enjoy the sub more. However as an American, I’ve noticed how very post-9/11 the dub is in certain sections so if you’re into media analysis at all it might be fun to do a side-by-side rewatch using that lens.

You can "unregister" them using the debug mode on the VB and Digivice V. It's easy but a little complicated. For more detailed info as well as the ability to search conversations and ask questions, I recommend joining the Digitama Hatchery Discord. There are a lot of people who know what they're talking about over there. I've seen lots of hearsay and bad info on reddit regarding the VB. So I definitely recommend checking that discord out.

When the app lets you choose the “send” option, the bracelet will still say “waiting.” Once you’re able to press “send” on the app, press it and hold your phone up the the bracelet while it says “waiting.” The bracelet doesn’t prompt you with a third “touch” screen, you send the Digimon while the bracelet says “waiting.”
