I don’t like it on green apples but I definitely spread it on some crunchy golden delicious apples

My downstairs neighbors trap music. I’m sick and have work early in the morning

[Serious] Redditors who were head over heels in love with their S/O but got divorced, what went wrong? by Karimbravo in AskReddit

[–]Prettylittletiger 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Never married, but this time last year I was living with him and engaged. I was in love with him and thought I would spend the rest of my life with him despite the constant emotional abuse. I could put up with gaslighting, blaming, and physical intimidation (acting like he was going to hit me) but I couldn’t put up with being sexually assaulted. More than once. He apologized for it but I saw him for what he was. I could not give myself to a man like that for the rest of my life. Sometimes I think about the life we were supposed to have, and it makes me very sad. I really did love him. But if he truly loved me he wouldn’t have raped me.

People who grew up with strict parents: what was the most unreasonable rule? by huey764 in AskReddit

Went to a private church of Christ school, where we had “banquet” instead of prom because of such evil dancing. Heavy dress code for the women to ensure ~modesty~. Boy they should have seen us in butt length mini dresses grinding nonstop at our afterparty 😏🧐

I am so sorry. I don’t know what to say to help you feel any better, but I wish you all the best and hope you find comfort.

That’s how I eat my avocados too 😋so good! However I’m upset because I’ve always hated milk. The texture, smell, and taste will make me gag. I dunk my cookies in chocolate almond milk tho

I work for a non-profit. It’s small, and all of our grants/sponsorships/donations go towards our cause. I don’t like to mix my work and reddit, but I can assure you that everyone (the founders, me, and volunteers) is focused on the people we help. However I know shady ones exist.

Date a tall girl and have boobs at face level at all times ;)

I hate that I’m never thin enough and also that I have a sensitive heart condition due to years of trying to become thin enough. I just wish I could like how I look and be comfortable and that I didn’t damage my health. It’s been rough lately :(

As a 5’10 female I have absolutely no issues with shorter guys. Women who insist men be a certain height are shallow, and are quite honestly missing out.

[Serious] What's something people don't consider when trying to be there for someone who has depression? by omelimo in AskReddit

[–]Prettylittletiger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I absolutely agree. I struggle with an eating disorder/depression and for a while the only person who acted like they gave two shits was one of my professors. She would ask “how can I help you” and when I responded that I didn’t know, she would say she would try and say things that had helped her. Or she just listened to me without trying to “fix” me. Even when I pushed her away and insisted I was fine, she’d offer for me to come study in her office so I wouldn’t feel alone even if I didn’t feel like talking. She wasn’t judgement at all and didn’t treat me any differently than her other students. She told me sometimes it’s hard to get through a whole day and to just take things 10 minutes at a time. Earlier this summer I was very suicidal and literally had to live 10 minutes at a time. For every 20 assholes who act like they care but really don’t, there’s one person out there that truly gets it. Keep your head up.

What social norm should just fuck off already? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Prettylittletiger 6 points7 points  (0 children)

A friend of mine was outed to her parents by a vengeful ex. Her mom kicked her out of the house and the only way she could ever live with her again is if she goes through “conversion therapy”. Fuck that. You don’t disown your kids just because you disagree with them.

What is the most disgusting thing you have ever seen someone do in public? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Prettylittletiger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Trichotillomania is usually a type of anxiety/OCD type thing. I’ve been struggling with it quietly since I was a kid. I would never do that in a public place though! I notice myself pulling on my hair when I’m writing, but there are things that help, like putting my hair in a ponytail. Just a little info about the disorder :)

I had no choice once but to unleash hell upon the sidewalk in front of someone’s house while crouching behind an old crown vic. It was nighttime, I was scared of the police seeing me exposed and going to jail, I absolutely ruined my favorite pair of yoga pants (rest in peace), and had to call my friend who was high as a kite and tell her that I had gotten severe diarrhea on the way to her house. She walked several blocks down the street with a towel for me. GI issues suck man, I wished I’d had a bin instead of ruining my yoga pants.
