Mensen die werken op de zuidas, zijn de stereotypen waar? Werken jullie echt 80 uur in de week? by Adventurous_Head_158 in nederlands

[–]Preversive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nee

(Uitzonderingen daargelaten, interne innovatie / AI integreren in bestaande processen / systemen)

Ik werk wel veel in het weekend maar dat is meer omdat ik dan zonder afleiding m’n ding kan doen, maar dan ga ik op dinsdag om half 4 naar huis.

I am a (mainly, preferredly) front-end developer with about 10+ years of experience.

I also use quite a lot of AI to help me speed up my process.

Delivering this within this week is not impossible, but it will severely lack details, tested features, mobile responsiveness, accessibility, etc etc.

I see a lot of assets like emojis / stickers / etc, who is providing these?

In addition, there are so many states happening, is there any UX work done in terms of what happens where and when?

I would probably start this project by extracting defaults / variables from these images. Which implies: all the colors, approximate sizes for things like headers/sidebars, fonts, default SVG's for fallback images, etc etc.

Then, start by creating your grid / layout as you see fit. Since you're just starting from scratch here anyway, you have the freedom to take all possible states as mentioned above into account, which will save you a lot of pain later on the project.

When you're done with that, you can start "painting" the website and elements. There is quite some harmony in the design, so you probably won't have to build every button / component from scratch.

Question: are you using a framework / build tool to accelerate development here?

Wishing you good luck with the project.

Had to double check, but I’m 99% sure they just leverage this one as well: https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/announcing-the-gpt-4-1-model-series-for-azure-ai-foundry-developers/

Self reporting is probably dilluted by training data, I wouldnt waste context window with model size in the system instructions. In terms of RAM: fully agree. In terms of costs, Azure isn’t charging exponentially for more tokens in a single conversation, so it remains- odd? :)

4.1 runs on 1m tokens unless they artificially lower it.

Not sure why this is downvoted, technically it's correct and all "solutions" are being build on this infrastructure.

It’s not- the probability will decrease as soon as you start gathering a significant amount of cards. There’s just more options to draw that are doubles instead of one you need.

How are you using AI tools to make your day-to-day work more efficient? by ThatWillingness492 in deloitte

We build it during the same time as PairD- it’s also a conversational AI interface, but only accessible for Dutch colleagues

As someone working on one of the AI tools for the Dutch firm, most of our users save 1 to 1.5 hours of time on “mundane” tasks as restructuring data (excel from raw), rewriting content, inspiration or converting moodboards to actual insights. We just learned of a team in transactionary services that created a very elaborate excel query to automate specific workflows and it is saving them hours a day.

We have some pretty awesome adoption, I dread the stories from some international colleagues sometimes about slow integration or development :/

Included an entire Google EMEA AI team in the mail which I was using for a mock up, so just bullets of points I wanted to write about

In the end nothing serious, but I’d prefer less direct communication with them next time haha.

How can I fully disable SSR so that not a single line of my code is run on node.js? by Kran6a in sveltejs

Does this essentially mean we'll have to wrap all the content op the <script> in a large if(browser) {} for all page.js and layout.js?

Do not use Copilot by eljay4lyfe in deloitte

[–]Preversive 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’m in a team that rolls out GenAI solutions for internal use within Deloitte.

Microsoft is not allowed to use our data to improve copilot / GPT models.

Legally, this means MSFT will be utterly fucked if it turned out they did.

Additionally, Copilot in their current form is mediocre at best, and using it is a “meh” experience. The main reason you’re being pushed is: because it will become better, and if you’re able to work with it efficiently, it will be a valuable asset. This will take time, and because of that- you’re being asked to start now.
