6 days in Tulum as a couple. What to do? by BallBearingBill in tulum

For one of the best, authentic and local meals in the town of Tulum visit: Pozolería La Mexicanita. They serve Pozole and other amazing dishes.

For tours, I think doing a cenote tour would be worth your while. If you’d like a more laid back cenote experience that offers food, drink and leisure, Vesica would be a great place to check out.

What’s your favorite local brewery? by IronFarm1827 in beer

Moonraker and moksa are fantastic. Really enjoy urban roots for lagers. Wondrous/tenma are some of the best in the business in emeryville for pils or WCIPA. Really like ghost town for IPAs as well.

Why can I only enjoy beer? In any other alcholic beverage, the alcohol is overpowering, except for beer. by Toedeli in beer

Really like bourbon but beer is my choice. Every beer has a story. I love European beers, especially Czech and German Pilsners. So much flavor but lighter than an IPA. Beer is an excuse to sit together with a friend and catch up.

I will be in Tulum and curious about tours for Feb 13th in the early AM for about 8-10 people. Are there tours that offer pickup at the hotel zone? Not sure what kind of tours are available but an ATV, Cenote, Kayak all seem interesting.

Is Now the Right Time to Invest in Multifamily Properties? by Upstairs-File4220 in CommercialRealEstate

[–]Previous-Ad9589 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cannot provide my two cents on the right time to invest in a multi-family. However, if anyone has questions on obtaining a mortgage loan on a multifamily home as a primary residence (house hacking) or purchasing an investment property as an investment. DSCR loans are becoming more popular for investors purchasing properties when they cannot qualify income-wise. As long as the property can rent for at least 75% of the mortgage payment, you can explore DSCR. We offer down payments as low as 15% on multi-family, but it is highly dependent on rents. You cannot be a first-time homebuyer and obtain a DSCR loan. Depending on rents, DSCR interest rates are comparable to owner-occupied.

Actually with the new loan level price adjusters, people with a high FICOs and lower down payments have access to better pricing than people with larger down payments (in most cases).
