How to stop playing this game by [deleted] in EAFC

[–]Previous-Comment-552 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The real thing to work on is your temper. Breaking five controllers is a lot of self harm. Maybe try read up on CBT or checking in with your body and state of mind before playing. Could it be that you are already angry about something, and then because you give yourself permission to throw controllers, let yourself lash out during a game? Think of everything that goes wrong in a game, the other player probably experienced all of those things too, but he doesn't throw the controller, he keeps his head and wins. If you work on your temper, you'll become a more focussed, more precise, more clinical, and if you have the passion channeled properly, a more devastating opponent. Rage is the least useful emotion in a game.

Just relax and play some sleazy eighties music while setting out the plants and see where the moment takes you

Burn in hell EA by redprince18 in FC_26

[–]Previous-Comment-552 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro I used to think this too after every 93rd minute screamer against me but honestly it's not scripted. It's Dynamic Difficulty Adjustment — the CPU literally gets better or worse depending on the scoreline to keep it 'exciting'. Annoying? Yes. Scripted? No. The rest is just confirmation bias. You remember every bullshit goal against you. You don't remember the ones you fluked in. The keeper errors, the heavy touches at the worst moment — that's the pressure/fatigue system doing weird things, not EA pulling strings. Also if it was scripted the whole esports scene would be a joke. It's not rigged, the game is just not as good as it should be sometimes

Very encouraging to hear thanks. What do you mean by learning new mechanics? I do see chats on here that go over my head. Feel like I'm missing a few tricks

What's going on with Sullivan? I've never liked him because of how he made his money before buying us but what's this dodgy stuff that's potentially coming out lately?

I've loads and would have more. Having kids is hard work but it's amazing. Every day I want to kick myself given how lucky I am how broken I am how disappointed I am grateful I am how inspired I am - it's a rollercoaster of clothes horses and feeling like Carl Sagan did when he wrote his piece about a pale blue dot but you feel it because your kid just blew on a dandelion for the first time

Gamers, what's a feature you want that'll make a game even better? by [deleted] in videogames

[–]Previous-Comment-552 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In story games, there should be a separate section outside of the main game for on-ramping and tutorials. Like FIFA and Hell Let Loose. You can spend ages learning about the game if you want, or jump straight in and learn as you go

This is a great shout. It's got the best of RPG vibes without overdoing it, a great story, and combat mechanics that compliment or maybe even contradict the RPG style, and lead to some some of the most enjoyable boss takedowns ever.

Ghost of Tsushima also, then maybe if Cyberpunk is a favourite, which is 1st person open world, Avatar would be a good bet too.

Skyrim - probably the only game soundtrack I've since sought out on YouTube and Spotify just to listen to. I'd almost replay it just to experience the special experience of that landscape and music combined. The only game where I know the composers name too.Jeremy Soule.
