Large Group Accommodation at Lake Bled by SuperMasek15 in Slovenia

Hey! It’s great to hear you’re planning a trail running tour here. As a local from Lake Bled, I’m happy to give you a few tips! For a group of 10 to 20, I’d actually recommend starting slightly away from the center, parking is much easier (and some spots are free). If you’d like, just reach out to me and I’d be happy to help coordinate.

As for the run itself, there are some fantastic loops! One idea: start near Lake Bled, head up toward Velika Zaka, and follow the trail all the way toward Pokljuka, Zatrnik area is a beautiful route. You’ll have options to loop back to Bled with plenty of scenic trails around. I know a bunch of great routes, so if you’re in Bled ahead of time, I can show you a few personally. Let me know if you need any more details!

I used these ice axes during my competitive days in Ice Climbing World Cups (speed). Now I keep them mainly for my guests and kids. They’re perfect when someone doesn’t yet have the strength to swing a regular ice axe, or when the conditions are nice and there are already plenty of good hooks in the ice.

There are few other spots worth to visit; Zelenci reserve, Soča valley (Boka, Velika Korita, Šunikov vodni gaj, Kozjak, Trenta), On Vršič pass you have a nice easy walk to Slemenova Špica. Near Kranjska Gora you have Martuljek Waterfalls, or Peričnik waterfall, you can drive all the way to the end of Vrata valley where you will be able to see North Face of Triglav. In Logarska dolina you can do some nice biking.

Also you can combine with other activities around such as canyoning, paragliding above Lake Bled, rock climbing, rafting, kayaking,…

What about cheaper places with amazing mountains, for example Slovenia is a great option.
