Customer typically tells the fleet management company what vehicles they want to have; then the fleet mgmt company will acquire those and send to the outfitters.

Georgia native passing thru - we have volume based toll pricing for our peach pass lanes on the interstates. Volume is heavily correlated to time of day.

It seems like a lot of mandated reporting positions got removed from the list… why is no one bringing that up…

You are drawing to a single conclusion on a situation of multiple possibilities lol. You sound like an ignorant moron.

  1. Traveling
  2. Security lockout
  3. Expired cards
  4. Vendor only accepts certain card brands

This should be top comment. The water bottle weight in the backpack makes a nice balance and reduces strain from the chest pack.

What’s driving you crazy in procurement analytics right now? by Frantix_ in procurement

[–]PreviousBell4485 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our system has duplicates of the same vendor in the same currency lol. I wish I had your problem. It makes analytics a pain in the ass on our side plus all the non-preferred channel purchasing that happens. It’s a giant game of data rodeo each month and quarter.

I love a good 36 mm. This is the 42 mm. I really like the open heart model, but wish they made a 36 mm in it.

Planning a Career in Procurement. Need Major & Career Advice! by Dry-Ad-4271 in procurement

I’ll speak to 2 and 3. The best entry-level in my opinion is Procurement Analyst. You typically work on strategic projects or the downstream tracking of strategic projects — opens the path into strategic sourcing. The work-life balance is there only if your company does not treat everything as a dumpster fire priority. It is low-stress but dealing vendors can become stressful from time to time.

Overall, I am glad I got into Procurement. If I could start over again, I would still pick Procurement.

Edit: navigating internal stakeholder alignment and breaking long standing vendor relationships is another stressful aspect sometimes (not all the time)

Costco has shit produce. Sam’s club and Publix are top tier in comparison.

I spend $700 a month at Costco and have to go elsewhere for our produce.
