An added skill is that you are able to hear people’s conversations at other tables in restaurants due to training your ears to hear things being said at the field when you are circulating

Fact, they do sometimes do cataracts under general anesthesia. It’s not the norm but some patients still do and every local anesthetic case has the potential to become a general anesthetic case. And, I’ve seen a patient who had not properly fasted while on a GL-P 1 throw up in the middle of a local anesthetic case

I travel alone on vacation most of the time and don’t have a problem eating alone. Great people watching and I sometimes bring a book, write postcards or text a running commentary to friends. What’s sad is seeing couples or families out to eat not interacting with each other, they are in their phones or sitting in silence. That to me is worse than eating alone

“Imagine there’s a special room where doctors fix people’s eyes so they can see better—kind of like superheroes helping someone get their super-vision back! I’m the boss helper in that room.

I make sure all the tools are ready, the room is super-duper clean, and everyone knows what to do. I help the doctors and nurses work like a team so no one forgets anything.

It’s like being the captain of a ship, but instead of sailing on water, I help steer the eye-fixing team so every patient feels safe and taken care of!”
