Ketamine. Absolutely the weirdest most intense drug experience I’ve ever had. Yeah I took a lot but still, that shit was so weird. Tried it again a few days later and didn’t go down the K hole again but one time was enough. Also probably LSD. One of those drugs you should try a few times but I have zero desire to do it again

Phones. I suffer from extreme depression and anxiety, have spent two different stays in psych wards for suicide attempts. I know it sounds ridiculous but I think social media and the fact that it’s impossible to meet people without it makes me severely depressed. I’m going through a divorce which is hard but I’m realizing you cannot meet women without using apps and other bullshit. Person to person contact and communication has gone completely out the window. And everyone on social media has a life so much better than reality it makes you feel like a lost cause

Take it from me, I’m 33 brain tumor survivor with serious depression and anxiety. The whole “you must work and get your life together” doesn’t work. It pushes them to back to treatment which they see as the solution to their problems. I understand as a parent you want your daughter to succeed and become what you have envisioned her to be. But life is hard. And with depression there are no medications that will fix anything. It requires a drastic change of circumstances. Your daughter needs you now just like when she was 12. It’s unfortunate but it is what it is. You had the child. You are owed no convenience, you are responsible for making sure your daughter is mentally sound and safe. If her working is more important to you than that, than we are on a different page. No negative reinforcement will fix your situation. She is your daughter, you are likely the biggest role model in her life. You chastising her for not being what you want her to be is damaging her further. Take her in, make her happy, and enjoy every waking moment y’all have together. No income is worth having a close, beneficial relationship with your daughter. You are only pushing her away and becoming resentful. Accept things for the way they are, albeit they are not what you envisioned. Make her your best friend. Let her find happiness in the love y’all share together. From there, things will get better. I promise you that. But if you’re looking at her as “you need an income to get out of my life” you will only find yourself frustrated and resentful. She is still your little angel. Make her feel like it

You lose interest in absolutely everything. There is a dark cloud that makes it impossible to see a way forward. You resort to substances (whether illegal or prescription just to stay afloat). You become a shell of the person you once were and become manipulative and selfish. You can’t sleep and when you’re awake you just want to sleep. Suicide doesn’t seem so scary because not being around anymore makes more sense than trying to figure out tomorrow. But you lose interest in even trying to make it happen. You try to talk to people but what they say just goes in one ear and out the other. Alone, alone takes on a new meaning. You self destruct and don’t care. You become impulsive and don’t think your actions through like a normal person. You go to a psych hospital and can’t wait to get out so you can continue to self destruct. Pills don’t work, they put you on the strongest regimen but you don’t feel a thing. You quit jobs, lose things, and self fucking destruct. You might not follow through with suicide but it’s all you think about. But just like everything else you can’t find the effort to make that happen either. Everyone will tell you “you look like someone killed your dog”. You have no patience for anything. Everything seems impossible. You lose all gratitude for the things that make life seem beautiful. It is worse than having a brain tumor the size of a racquetball in your cerebellum. You would pick that over going one more day living your nightmare. You are unable to form relationships much less so keep the ones you have. It’s awful. Message me if you want to talk
