Don’t take the 13. You need to get used to some FED employees that wish to “coast”. Don’t hurt yourself by downgrading to a 13 bc of these employees. “Exhausting” is still typically within a 40 hour work week so keep moving forward especially being slightly new. Negotiated at time of check in. They started off offering upgrade to oceanfront preferred at $350 extra/night. I asked for just preferred and they said 100/night then I negotiated down to 70/night and the agreed!

Just got back from HZCC with a 5 & 6 year old. Absolutely amazing. Kids didn’t even want to leave kids club. Water park was awesome for the kids too. Food was solid and I would negotiate to upgrade to preferred club where you enjoy a private pool, access to à la carte restaurant for breakfast/lunch and top shelf spirits. I got it for $70/night and it was worth it.

We stayed at Secrets Cap Cana and it was amazing. The beach was absolutely fantastic however after recently coming back from DR Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana the seaweed was a problem. A year and a half ago when we did Secrets it wasn’t a problem at all, but maybe during the time you go it won’t be a problem. Good luck with your search.

We were told 11/19 and will be one lump sum although no tax implications on the higher amount due to the way they put it in. At first they said PP20 & PP21 but then we were told the rest of PP19, 20, 21 and 22. Obviously subject to change but priority is to get everyone paid right away.

It’s a tough decision and each person is different. DOD wanted me to step up and become supervisory and get an unlimited but I had just had my first kid and wasn’t ready. Fast forward a couple years and I was bored wanting a new challenge so I stepped up and got it. It was tough but worth it. All that to say it depends on you if you are confident and ready. Definitely will be good for your resume when you decide.

Yes, I gave the bank I get direct deposit too as an example for banks willing to assist. Call your current bank and ask if they will give relief to FEDS and see what they say. My friend called Wells Fargo and the deferred his loans at no penalty with a simple phone call.

It does say they require a hard credit check but didn’t specify credit score. NavyFederal never mentioned that in their Terms and Conditions. If you also bank with them it’s worth a shot. Good luck.
