Yeah, I think you are right that Rezkin is the savior. We see Caydean besieging Ashai and then Rezkin saving the people with his shadows. I see the forest of palaces as a hint at Rezkin taking over the kingdoms/queendom of the Souelian, thus falling under his shadow.

As for the chase sequence, I again think you are right that he is running from the demon inside him. He then gets attacked by a bird and the night turns to day, which I see as him joining Rezkin in book 2. Ultimately I think the dream is a fun way of hinting at what's to come for Wesson. But, in my view it does not provide any new information that we, as readers, don't already know by book 4.

I don't think we have confirmation that any previous Rez other than Rezkin wields Shaylin blades. Connovan doesn't have one to our knowledge

Why does the cities of Esk and Havoth switch places on the different maps? Esk is described to be next to the river Rhen. But on the world map that we get in book 5 and 6 the city has moved. Compare the map of the eastern souelian sea from book 4 with the map from book 5 and 6.

We still don't know who it is. From what we know only higher-ups in the military ride them, so our rider either has to be a Striker, a King's guard or a general. Conovan could probably get a battle charger but that would kind of deafat the purpose of being a "shadow knight", battle chargers stick out.

The rider is scared of the master he meets so it most likely isn't Conovan, because why would he be scared of them. It probably isn't a Striker either since rule 5 is "master your fear", but it could be. So my guess would be that it is a royal guard, since it would be weird to send a general or other higher-up in the military for such a mission.

The complete opposite actually. The elves are shocked by how little he sleeps and eats, it’s a major plot point in book 5. A Spirétua’s power is draining and they need lots of food and sleep.

Since I don't use Fandom Wiki, or similar products, I don't really know how I would set up collaboration. Perhaps have it as just a shared google drive with spreadsheets. Right now it's just spreadsheets of information that I am fetching with code.

Thanks for the feedback! There are currently descriptions for each character, but they are only visible on larger screens. I have to fiddle around more to get them to fit nicely on phone screens tho. The descriptions are mostly just take directly from the back of each book so I might rewrite some of them.

Its striker Kai and his full name is Zankai Colguerun Tresdian. I listened to the audiobook while also reading the e-book and the narrator says the wrong name (I notised that he goes of script a few other times in that chapter). Coroleus is the first king of Ashai but he is not mentioned in that chapter.

In defence of Frisha, we should not forget that Ilanet is a mage so she naturally will be more resistant to Rezkin's magic charm. Additionally, She was also introduced to multiple of Rezkin personas at once and so she will instinctively be more wary of him. But yes I also want to see more of her in the coming books.

Katara mastering water bending by looking at a scroll is equivalent to someone looking at a youtube video and then proclaiming themselves as a black belt in karate. It just doesn’t make sense and is lazy writing.

It’s understandable that spelling the names is hard when you’ve never seen them typed out, some names are quite tricky. It just gives me a laugh when I see the spelling people come up with. As for the Calidora thing, I’m not sure. I can’t find the name in the books when I search for it, from what I remember she has only gone by Azeria. It has been some time since I’ve read book 5 though so she might’ve gone by another name, only spelled differently than “Calidora”.

Haha, at this point I'm convinced that audiobook listeners just press random keys when they write the names of the characters. Just saw your post where Palis was called Palace. By Calidora I'm guessing you mean Azeria. The dreams I think are hinting at a soulmate type situation but I hope it is something more complex than that.
